Hemp oil (just the kind you buy for salad dressing) is good for your skin. It smells very grassy. I used to take my makeup off with it and I have mixed it with menthol as a hair oil for the shower when I get dry scalp. It’s tingly and soothing.

So for self tanner I just use latex or vinyl gloves you can buy at sally's for coloring your hair. It's so easy and convenient. Tip for your foot balm for anyone who wants it. Socks are a must when using it overnight and it totally saves yer sheets and helps prevent sock staining. That said socks are so absorbent that they pose a separate problem as they leech a lot of the product and limit results or product distribution. This happened repeatedly until I got the bright idea to wrap the places I applied it (in my case the heel, front foot pad), with a small piece/scrap of saran wrap. It was a GREAT idea in theory, but in application it made my foot slip dangerously within my sock when I walked on tile, linoleum and smooth wood surfaces. Sooo if you are doing it in bed, without planning to walk anywhere it works great by my autistic, ADHD filled booty never sits still no matter how hard I try. Back I took to the drawing board. Next up I tried pieces of wax paper with the wax down for grip. This worked substantially better yet when I walked the scraps didn't stay put and needed to be readjusted often. So I figured I'd try one more thing: Buy or nominate a pair or two of socks to use during this process so you don't stain all your socks. Figure out where the areas you are going to place the product sit in the sock, then turn the sock inside out and apply a liberal amount of the product you intend to use directly on the surface of the sock when inside out, this seals the pores of the fabric so they won't absorb any of the product you apply to your tootsies. Then place on the socks. If the product you are utilizing is expensive you may say "I'm not wasting money by using my good product on my socks". No worries I got you, use another cheaper product with similar hydrating properties like Vaseline or Vicks vapor rub (which has great properties for feet especially if it contains camphor), but place the actual $ product directly on your foot. Last but not least, with some of my socks, my thinner socks, this led to oily marks where my foot hit the floor, or a little slip when walking, some socks did not. If you find you still have a slippage or oily spot issues you can purchase instant patch material from a craft store or cut out diy patches from rags/old clothing for the bottom of your socks applying them with the means directed (gluing, even hot gluing scraps or ironing on patches), in the appropriate area. It may seem like a lot of work for a silly reason but EVERY job benefits from some tool and with that tool the job is less arduous and more rewarding, offering better results more often than not. Hope this helps someone. If anybody tries it, lemme know. Have a blessed day y'all.

Hey Taylor! Fellow baerito, and nail tech! I think the reason the nail polish removal cream didn’t work is def due to you still having the shellac on! At the salon when they wrap your fingers in foil to soak off gel polish, it’s to trap the the heat that your fingers/nail plate naturally make inside the foil which will help break down the polish and accelerate the acetone. Since this cream I’m assuming is just a diluted acetone of some sort, it’s probably having a hard time working since the thick shellac prevents warmth from your nail plate to come through and help accelerate the cream. Which would help remove it in a timely manner! I’d def try it again with just plain polish with no shellac underneath before writing it off completely. But as you mentioned regular acetone is a hell of a lot quicker anyway.😆

BTW I had super dry, cracked heels that would bleed so I started using the Amope. I was able to just buff the layer of dead skin which then let the moisturizer or balms work better. I love it and have never had the problems with my dry and cracked heels again and I have been using once it got things under control only three or four times a month for about four years.

O'Keefe's working mans hand cream is thick and works so good. After a week you will see a big difference. Yesterday I seen it at a Family Dollar, Dollar General, Harbor Freight, Walmart and Walgreens now carries it. IT'S a green tube or green tub you can get it in both now. That stuff works so good my feet are so soft I don't have dry cracked feet at all anymore. What made me start using it was a guy I used to date was allergic to this dish soap that out job used at a casino and his hands would split, bleed, red, and raw. And that was what he used and it kept his hands from being like that. But when he ran out you could tell a difference. Kinda of on the cheap side. I swear by it and a purple pumice from Sally's beauty store use in shower while feet are soak in water for a few then rub It on socks and bed. Game changing
