Unfortunately, it seems to be a problem in other African countries as well. It sure is a problem in mine (Côte d'Ivoire). Entrepreneurs often have to be overly invested in all areas of the business because of the lack of trust which not only creates burnouts but often prevents businesses from growing past a certain level. We can do better and I believe that we WILL.

We are doing our people a disservice telling them to save instead of telling them to look for ways to improve your income. 10k in January is 7k in December in this country. You can't make money saving because your savings in dependent on how much you make so increase your income and your savings will increase.

In the meantime, look into index/mutual funds or bonds to put the money in to generate bigger interest than banks give. Yes, save but knowledge is power. There are ways to make your money work for you. God will inspire you, don’t give up

The entertainment industry in Nigeria is contributing $5 billion to the Nigerian economy annually and entertainment industry is fast growing in countries like Ghana, South Africa and Kenya. The lack of honesty and trust in Nigeria is appalling. It makes running a business way more difficult than it should be. At his level, he should be able to have employees run point on certain sections. He doesn't have to be at all the locations.
