It's really Sad about the problem he said of "Trust and Honesty" that's lacking in the country. This isn't good for businesses or relationships. Hope we can all start taking it seriously and address these important Moral principles. Unfortunately he's not the first person saying it.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a problem in other African countries as well. It sure is a problem in mine (Côte d'Ivoire). Entrepreneurs often have to be overly invested in all areas of the business because of the lack of trust which not only creates burnouts but often prevents businesses from growing past a certain level. We can do better and I believe that we WILL.

#500 12months=6k #1k 12months=12k #5k 12months=60k Tell me how someone can successfully do anything with this kind of money. We are doing our people a disservice telling them to save instead of telling them to look for ways to improve your income. 10k in January is 7k in December in this country. You can't make money saving because your savings in dependent on how much you make so increase your income and your savings will increase.

@@therewasanattempt1961 true but it’s a time thing. Find a bank with good savings interest and forget the money there. Only remember the account when you want to put money into it. In the meantime, look into index/mutual funds or bonds to put the money in to generate bigger interest than banks give. Yes, save but knowledge is power. There are ways to make your money work for you. God will inspire you, don’t give up

The lack of honesty and trust in Nigeria is appalling. It makes running a business way more difficult than it should be. At his level, he should be able to have employees run point on certain sections. He doesn't have to be at all the locations. A lot of us in diaspora want to invest back home but we keep hearing the same thing - if you are not there in person they will chop all the money and run your business to the ground. big up to Olukanmi for building his empire despite all odds
