The kinky curly curling custard is my holy grail, imo it’s great for wavy hair and it prioritizes clumping and smoothness and no frizz over hold, I like it like that though. A big game changer also was just like plopping, but kinda “guiding” the plop in the direction of your curl if that makes sense, so your curls don’t kinda fold over each other

I’ve got brown long naturally wavy hair, to the small of my back. I’ve always hated my hair, but as a mom, a wife, and all the other 🧢 that I wear I was tired of the upkeep to maintain the look I wanted. Since I was a teenager I bleached my hair blond or put highlights in my natural brown hair, plus blow dried my hair with a stiff bristled brush, and straightened my hair with a flat iron 😩. I done tons of damage FOR YEARS. Recently I am just tired of maintain the maintenances with all of that work just to keep my blond straight hair. My point is just accept ur natural hair it’s beautiful 😍. Thanks to this video I realize that I need to find a different shampoo and conditioner and I also have MOISTURE OVER LOAD IN MY HAIR!!! So that’s why my hair looks terrible and I’ve just been throwing it up in a messy bun. So thank you so so much for this information I’m going to go get a protein treatment this evening and put it in my hair tonight 🤞it works.

Try the Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil strength and restore hair mask it has protein in it

Hey Taylor, You should boil flax seeds for 15 min and use it's water on your hair after you get out of the bath OMG it's revolutionary, the result is amazing and it's organic and natural and it has a lot of benefits, I promise it's super great, I got my natural curls back after they went bad bc of constant hair bleaching. Boiled flax seeds can define the curls and maintain their structure.

I recently got a hair dryer with a diffuser and it was a gamechanger for me. Before the hair dryer I would always let it airdry and that would just take ages. I still don't fully diffuse it so it doesn't get frizzy and loose shine. This way I get a lot more volume than when I air dry. But keeping the balance between protein and hydration is sooooo hard.
@HansensUniverseT-A7 ай бұрын
Short answer is simple drugstore products that contain zero proteins and other wacky ingredients, all a hair product needs to do is clean, literally. If you want good hair than focus on overall body health, shield your hair from excessive heat and mechanical stress, allow your scalp to build up sebum which is great to distribute in the hair as nature intended us to, that's literally it, just sulfate clean and let it air dry. Take my word of experience on this, the people i know that have great or amazing hair all use cheap and simple drugstore products, there is no need for anything else, saloon products are a major scam and contains ingredients that will destroy our hair in the long run, sometimes to the point where it has to be cut off.

So I have 2C, fine, low density, high porosity hair. I stopped using heavy ass products and started using less amounts in my hair to not weigh down the curls! Right now I’m using a mix of the As I Am Coconut Cowash and the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat shampoo/conditioner depending on if I’m clarifying or just rewashing my hair 💕 I wash every 4 days, and I clarify only once a week! I also stopped bleaching my hair. My natural black hair is super cute and it looks much more shiny than when it was blonde! For my styling products I use the Curls Blueberry Bliss leave in, AC Re:Coil cream, and the Innersense I Create Lift Foam/Ouidad Climate Control Gel 💕 If you have fine, low density hair, STOP PUTTING LAYERS IN YOUR HAIR!!!! Your hair turns see through and weird, you have random “bald spots” from your hair not being weighed down enough to cover your scalp, and it looks SO AWFUL 😭 if your hair is long you can get away with long layers but PLEASE don’t cut any layers above your ear. It will save you the time and agony of trying to grow them back out because the back of your head look ridiculous 💀💀💀

Shea Moisture’s Manuka Honey & Yogurt protein repair line. I used their shampoo, conditioner, and mask this morning after it was bleached and cut waaaay too short (IMO - I hate myself with short hair). It basically had stretched out. I kept putting moisture in it never understanding the whole protein thing. Very clearly my hair needed protein because it’s so light and bouncy and super curly today. Less frizz. Now I feel more confident to live through the short hair while it grows back out. At least I take biotin so it won’t take too long to grow.
