Another beauty Andrew. Quite amazing and somewhat disturbing with all those dead trees on the shore. The aerial perspective really highlighted the eerie nature of the place. Loved the silhouettes and subtle compositions.

Wonderful images. It always amazes me how much better the final image looks compared to the eye view at the location. I'm still learning to visualize a final image so I don't pass up shots due to the way they look live...

Another great video Andrew, the story the photos and the music was all well done and of course the 2 Panos of which I think the one at 10.20 was a by far the better of the two, thumbs up again, cheers.

Excellent, Andrew. What I like the most about your videos (in addition to seeing your results) is the your emphasis on your thought processes and analysis of the shot, and the settings.

Thanks for yet another outstanding video. Had my first visit to Tassie in January and have plans to return there in June. It’s an amazing place. Would have been at your workshop but the timing wasn’t quite there! I hope you do another one in the future. Thanks again for your inspirational videos. Hands down The Best photographic channel on KZbin.

Looked a very interesting area to explore Andrew, almost like a graveyard for trees. Enjoyed hearing your thoughts photographing such an unusual scene and cracking images in the end

Interesting and stunning location. There's a location near where I shoot often that has a similar look and feel. A lot of fallen trees uprooted - a grave yard of trees. Not anywhere near this scale. Indeed the chaos makes it challenging to get a composition. I'll need to try and get some images from there next time. Safe travels!

Just new on your'e channel and I love it ! Calm and understandable talking, very good ( because I'm Dutch, English is not my native language ;-) ). I see you use a lot of Drone images and video's . I also saw you use a DJI drone. I have a Dji Mavic 2 Zoom, but most of the times crappy images and video..... Could you tell me your'e presets for good quality pictures and video please. I do not have Light-room and such, so with video I want it to come out of the Mavic 2 as good as possible. Thanks in advance !

Thanks yet again for a great video. I love the way you crop to pick out the best part of the image even if it's super wide. Great lip sync on this one Andrew.

Great images Andrew, Tasmania really is a very varied place. Shame it's soooo far away from UK!

Great images Andrew. I suspect that the foreshore with the dead trees has been covered by water at some stage when the dam is to capacity? Makes for a very interesting location though.

i don,t understand why every blogger has to have beautiful drone shots with music when as a photographer i tune in for stats and results from a pro,i thought that was the point.but every single tutorial now consist of drone with music intro.so sad.good luck,hope you come up with some useful info eventually
@Andrew_marr4 жыл бұрын
For what it's worth, you are missing the point slightly. The tech stats don't means much because you aren't there taking the same image under the same conditions. That's why I put so much effort into explaining why I'm selecting the settings I am and the effect it'll have on the image. The really purpose behind the videos is to not only teach about camera settings but also where I explore and and how I find compositions. I'm hopefully doing two things, inspire you to take your own adventure and provide some context about the location I am exploring. The drone footage is a big part of that. However, I recognise it's not for everyone! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and leaving a comment.
