I was as well! I first tested Taz by switching him on and sitting him on the carpetted floor and he just kind of sat there wobbling on the spot. Uh oh... But as soon as you put him on a flat surface he's off like a shot!

Thanks for commenting! I'd never heard of Wild Wooly until you mentioned it now - looking it up, yes, it's pretty obvious that this game is pretty much a direct reskin of that one!

​@@AtticRaidersRetroReviews In Wild Wooly though when you spin (spinner not die) a color you remove it from YOUR side, so has a different feel of the game that way. There is one spot on spinner for removing opponent's sticks too, along with a spot where you don't remove your stick but rather throw a cardboard piece of food into cage. I imagine the hair on wild wooly and any cardboard food piece thrown in must affect his rolling ability...

​@@Z-Man-lzpressman was on a roll in 2000s with making scooby doo licenced games with knockoff ideas from former MB and PB games. One was called thrills and spills and was the tornado rex knockoff. Never worked quite as well though.

I've seen a few deals on copies with non working electronics, which in my experience is motor related and needs to have to brushes cleaned and pressed tighter against the commutator. Question is, do you think the innards are easily serviceable? Seeing the inside of yours I didn't see any screws or easy way to access motor

Honestly, I don't remember; will have to look it out when I have time. I'd imagine that it would be easy to take apart though, unless it's sonic welded.

Yeah seems odd as Tornado Rex is essentially Taz.
