The fact that Brady had 5 super bowls at the time, just beat Mahomes in essentially his rookie year in the AFC champtonship, then walks over still in shoulder pads and all to essentially give Mahomes praise is in no way any slap in the face to Mahomes. If anything, that was a sign of respect, to someone who hadn't even been named League MVP at the time.

Both of these quarterbacks are Great 😃 you can't compare their resume until Patrick Mahomes retire. Bad losses every quarterback has. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay beat the brakes off of Patrick and the Kansas City Chiefs. Brady had a bad loss as well with the Patriots being favored over Philadelphia and they lost to a backup Quarterback but it doesn't take away his greatness or anything like that. Right now Brady is the GOAT. Let's revisit this conversation in 10 years 🤔

But I played ball, I won 2 highschool league championships, and the after first one, I told the opposing qb the same thing. His team was better than mine. I said what I thought was real. He lost players to injury and going to different places and I stayed. I beat him again, but what I said the year before meant something. Maybe Brady did the same.
