The game doesnt have hackers: not because theres an anti cheat. There were hacks available and a lot of people streaming with hacks enabled. But because the game has no incentive to hack because it doesnt run well and because why would you hack against bots and not have others see how well you did.

If the people who complain stop playing the game, this wouldn’t be a problem. But of the 2000 people a day playing, hundreds still complain yet they play the game. If they stopped, dice could just pull the fucking plug. Because whether YOU like it or not, the game is objectively bad. On top of that it took resources from other titles that people DID actually like, and killed those for this garbage. Battlefield is dead. It’s done.

I have over 130 hours on the game and the reason why is because I was stuck on the loading screen with the ship for two hours at launch so I couldn’t refund then and when refunds for over that were allowed I’d played for long enough (because I thought there was no chance of getting a refund) that I couldn’t get the refund then.

The purpose of a free weekend is to get fresh meat into the grinder, and _keep it there._ You can see the player count curve started back it's downward path a little higher than it started. That small bump are the players that stayed. What you want to happen is see a spike during the free weekend and the least amount of drop back toward the original curve. Unfortunately, of that very tiny bump, I expect most of it was due to regular players sticking around a little more than usual due to easy noob kills. In short, the free weekend effectively had NO effect on BF2042.

I gave up after the fact Season 1 isn't even out yet. Matter of fact I gave up after they took 1942 Classic out. The portal mode is what saved the game and they messed it up by, taking out the Classic game modes and set up.

I have never played any other battlefield game, i bought it for 3 of my friends and was really excited, and you know what, I like the game. I feel like the other long time battlefield players are used to great games by dice are honestly underwhelmed and I might be to. But I still have fun when I play with my friends, the graphics are incredible and I really enjoy portal (except for the SPAS-12 with explosive rounds. That really sucks.) So I feel that some players get caught up in the hating on the game ban wagon when if its such a bad game, then stop talking about it, anyway, hope Dice makes this game as good as the others so I can have a true battlefield experience

I actually kind of like the music for 2042 in a weird way, it has a certain different tone to it than the rest and it could have been cool and sort of fitting if they made the game more like bf1 and less like overwatch... It all sounds sort of empty and... Desperate(?) and if the game kept that tone consistently and the music actually fit the game it would hopefully have been better received
