@@crimzenwoffinden9973 I can step away all I want but it won’t stop corporate greed in games, we have the power to make a change with our wallets but the problem is knowing not everyone will be on the same page. Example; in GTA 5 if you’re totally new you can buy a criminal empire bundle, which nets you a few starting business’s and 1 million in cash in-game Just for SPENDING REAL MONEY. Which to the normal player who doesn’t wanna dish out money or simply cannot afford it, would take them hours to grind out to even get a single business. This can be easily solved by playing the double $$ and EXP modes, but this still takes time and effort to be able to reap the rewards of anything in the game. This doesn’t account for those with lives that don’t give them time to hop on and enjoy their games even if it’s with family. And this is just rockstar, there are others in this new predatory market and they’ve saturated it with so many ways to toss Real money at the problem that developers like Ubisoft aren’t even hiding it anymore. It’s a shame that companies that used to have a good name behind a game are now so obsessed with their greed that they’re not even remotely interested in caring towards the customers who would normally buy their games. I don’t want this to come off as hostile but just as an idea that we as gamers shouldn’t just sit around expecting new things to happen without our voices being heard and that’s how it certainly seems to be what it’s like now.

You're remembering things different. No one was really angry. They added the bow because of the poison arrows and it was more novelty than anything else. I kinda understand why they did that. Once they figured out how to complete it all, the exact steps and passwords and everything would've been posted somewhere, so they actual point of the entire easter egg was gone. The bow technically wasn't the reward, it was the journey to it. You had to work with others to find the way to get to it, and that in of itself would've been fun and the entire point to the easter egg. I do get that people would be mad, they have every right to be, but I don't think the devs made too bad of a decision. It would've been nice though if you could've gotten some cosmetic thing to prove you actually did the easter egg.

Fuck the Easter egg, I was so glad when they did this. Said it in 2014, saying it now: the gun shouldn’t have been locked behind some weird maze of bullshit, especially when I have to play the campaign three separate times to get 3 guns. Fuck that.
