As an Alliance, I usually start my day off with an instant AV queue just to grab free buffs and mage food and leave.

@@Holderhek Yeah not wasting my time with an hour long AV because Horde wants to stall the game for as long as possible for honor. Rather just queue EoTS haha. I do like actually playing the game though, hopefully Blizzard can do something about the shitty queues, but it's hard to see how when Horde literally outnumbers Alliance 10 to 1 on majority of the realms.

There are breakpoints for expertise. We have created a Sim in the discord that actually disqualify shat and clefthoof from actual phase bis. There just isn't enough of that stat on gear that's good to qualify wearing any of it. If you'd like to know more just join the discord and look through the pins.

I like your positive take on it but doesn't fix the issue for me sure arena is fun and i wanna play it to progress but it's taxing and your team isn't always on so a part of arena pvp isn't possible in TBC for horde

You probably have some sort of interaction going on with an add-on try clicking the PVP icon in your minimap and joining from there

I've farmed out nearly my full blue set (check my armpits if you want, yes they're sweaty) and boy I'm struggling in arena, I know it's a off meta spec and class for arena but oh jesus this is painful. Holderhek pelase, send help!

Well the "meta" is literally just RMP 90% of the time so half the playerbase is offmeta right now. Best help I can give any shaman in Arena right now is you have to be aware of your strengths and your weaknesses. Your strengths: high pressure, anti heal over time, anti buff, grounding, tremor and ranged kicks. Weaknesses: no mobility at all and squishy if focused. You got to play with teammates that understand what you bring to the table. People who can cleanse your roots, people who can help keep targets next to you. After that it just comes down to sitting down with your team understanding basic team configurations that you're going to come up against and having a baseline plan for every one of those configurations so you aren't trying to come up with one on the fly every game. After that it just comes down to playing hundreds and hundreds of games with the same people so you get better and better.

Or open faction changes. Alliance have bis pvp racials for the top comps such as rmp. Perception and priest racials from dwarf. And gnome/orc is a fair trade for wars. I would pay double for a faction change.

Hey, idk if you're new to TBC but this information is very inaccurate. When you list the stats and see you have -116 resilience compared to the "pre-bis" set, that means you have absolutely zero chance of winning against anyone who abused the pre-patch farm and bought early arena rewards. (Which blizz did not take away). Let's say that wasn't the case though, you still have people with full bis sets (+116 resilience is a joke) you cannot beat a team with 120 resilience more than you on each character. It's simply not possible at competitive ratings. Not to mention the people who abused the pre-patch honor were able to buy arena gear early due to a glitch and they didn't take it away. The only way this video makes sense is if you legit have never played TBC and have no idea how resilience functions and how absolutely ridiculous it is when someone has +300 and you have +100. Unfortunately for the time being this game is broken. Realistically it will not be solved, but even if they do solve it, arena season 1 is a complete joke and not competitive in the slightest due to the hour long queues and gear scarcity. TLDR: having -116 res is not winnable, blizz ruined arena season 1, glhf go next xD

Season one is fine you doomers need to go outside, log off and stop liking your own KZbin comments. Edit: 196 resilience with virtually no honor grind required vs 276 with the absolute best you could possibly do isn't a huge margin by any means.

@@Holderhek I am not playing PvP until they fix the issues, which they most likely won't, a lot of other competitive people feel this way. I was glad multiple seasons in OG tbc with rogue/priest and it's just literally not even possible to be competitive past 1700 with the current issues. I don't think you quite understand the severity of other's not only having gear that you CANNOT attain do to a glitch, but also 60% of the entire player-base being unable to attain even basic resilience gear due to the queue times. Not trying to be rude or anything, this is a great topic to cover, it's just that you literally cannot get a competitive gear set for arena from dungeon gear. MAYBE you can compete with it to 1500, (remember you start at 0 now) but after that you have absolutely zero chance. You will be fighting full sets, a lot of people with arena gear already from the glitch too. Season is busted.

Halaa pants/belt. Terokar Helm/Ring. Dungeon neck/ring/trinket then socket PvE gear with mystic dawnstones. You're still going to have to PVP a little bit to fill in the rest.
