You posted what I wanted to say ! That's a little sad that barely nobody knows this technic and how it's hard to execute during a tournament game. And he even did it blindly because it was during the transformation of the stage and Samus was hidden in the fog (which made it surprising but also super hard to execute)... Pewpew didn't even understood what happened to him... And people then are like "fuck Samus" they don't even know how much skill an read it asked.
