dang back to back got s2j then m2k in check, I meannnnnn m2k did almost double 4 stock him but in the its 3-2 in favor of silentwolf like jeeeeeeez crispy af people gotta stop hating on m2k and stuff, sure its an upset but its honestly not that huge of an upset. Silentwolf here is [dont get mad jumping the gun] at a veryyyyy simplest way to put it is like a Westballz. A player with style/tech skill that you can't train for against with anyone else and on days that they're on fire you just can't stop them. Play styles are completely different, just the type of player encounter. Anyways my gawdddd silentwolf these 2 games had some crispy movement, skill, and overall just plays. Silentwolf isnt even ranked that much lower than Westballz and I'm just getting to the point that if Westballz beat M2K I dont think anyone would say a thing. It is still an upset if either of them beat M2K, but no one would be sayin all this "sad2king fallen god etc etc" junk for Westballz. Top players all say it, it being 'at the top level its really who's playing better that day, sometimes you're playing badly, sometimes you're playing out of your mind' its rare for both to be doin crazy good. Last point Silentwolf has done it before so let the king of mews breathe man, he might not have been playing his best, but this is a very reasonable game to lose, game 5, top player, one that most people dont have the opportunity to train/study against

Does anyone have a link or better description about what Scar was talking about at the end of the first game with spacies dash attack? I haven't heard about this before and would like to learn more.

When you dash attack someone's shield with spacies, the opponent in shield needs to wait a bit to shield grab because the spacie's hurt box is past them for a second after the hit box is over... so they get "Roy zoned" as it is called, and the grab actually whiffs and grabs nothing because the spacie is overlapping them so much, they are basically behind the opponent for a second

I've always thought silent wolf was a really strong player. And his tech skill is very high lvl. He never seems to win a full tournament though

it's mainly because just beating one of the gods seems like it requires so much preparation and energy that getting consecutive wins is prob incredibly difficult. all of the 5 gods and leffen have their own unique style and approach to the game.

PP was playing terrible at 5Gods. And almost beating Armada doesn't mean anything, only wins matter. I love SW, but a lot of others are closer to being a godslayer than he is, like Westballz, Plup, or Wizzy.

The way he utilized the platforms in game 5 was so damn good. Such an intelligent player and his tech skill was way ahead of his time. Dude was faster than most modern Fox players on a regular GC controller with no UCF.
