Magic scrumpys buff to m2 is pretty cool. Shrink his tail hurtbox, made him heavier and some slight buffs to moves. No where near as good as m2 in pm (which was cancerous as all you did was spam uptilt and then get a free 0 to death off it). But imagine how far taj could take those small m2 buffs.

what actually made 3.02 mewtwo cancerous was the near unreactable teleport-hover > nair which leads into all sorts of stuff, Also tail size was ridiculous

no, mewtwo is fairly viable. there's literally a stigma around mewtwo as if he's this terrible character when in reality he can do some insane shit, especially if you use him all the time and get used to his movement, attacks, and combos. he can literally disable your character if he gets a read on you

I'm no mewtwo main, but a really nice trick is mewtwos shadow ball charge. it has a very silly hit box that can edge gaurd and force a low recovery depending on what character, while they try to recover low for the sweet spot ledge it gives you a gimp window. of course it only works at higher percents. but it's still fancy stuff.

Foxes up smash actually doesn't have any disjointed range. The reason why it connected at 2:10 is because when Mewtwo crouches, his hurtboxes lean forward. It looks disjointed because he gets up smashed when crouched (lean forward), but when he is in hitstun he straightens back up making it look like there was crazy range. Same thing happens to marth with his f smash or d tilt, his lanky arm hangs there for a second and he can get hit because of it
