1st time seeing your channel. Well done. I am looking to replace a very old stapler (110V) and this just might fit the bill. (and I thought I had a bunch of ryobi tools!)

Thank you! I was surprised at just how well this little 4-in-1 did for the standard staples and brad nails. For the average DIY or craft work, this thing is awesome and we've found that it works very well for us and continue to use it as our default stapler for most jobs. You might find it isn't able to hit as hard as your older 110V, but for us it works great. As for my collection, when a job calls for a tool I determine if it needs to be 110v or battery powered, if it needs to be battery powered then I first look at Ryobi since I am already in their ecosystem, thus the crazy level of tools I have on the wall (and a ton you don't see). There are a few Ryboi tools I own that aren't very good but most of them do a great job! Thank you for watching and leaving a positive comment.

That sounds like a handy tool! It's always cool to see new gadgets and tools in action. The Ryobi 4V lithium stapler looks like it's going to be super convenient for quick fixes and projects around the house. Thanks for sharing this review! 🔧📦👍✨🛠️💡🔋📌🔨🪛📏🔩🔧📋🗜️📎🪜🧰🧲🗂️🖇️

Gonna need Ryobi 4v, 18v, and 40v. I wish TTI made their Rigid lineup more diverse like this.

I agree, I like Ridgid tools too but their lineup is pretty lacking it seems. I don't have very many Ridgid tools, and Ryobi collection is growing a bit. I have a few Bauer and Hercules tools too....kind of buy whichever tool I need that is on sale at the time...and once you have the batteries and charger it opens up a huge selection of tool options by having multiple platforms. I have the 40V blower, chainsaw, and attachment capable trimmer from Ryobi.

@StuffTested There are a ton of Ryobi products out there and various lines and generally speaking they are pretty awesome! I too am disappointed with the Ridgid lineup, it is almost like TTI completely forgot about them. Currently I have a lot of 18v stuff with several 40v and 4v in my lineup. So far I'm enjoying each respective series and using them for what they are designed for. Thank you for watching & commenting.

@wildbill23c I completely agree and the Hercules line of tools is amazing. I have a couple of Bauer and I have zero complaints with them. On the other hand, Chicago Electric are just pitiful....at least as far as the angle grinders are concerned. Thank you for watching and commenting.

@@TBKHomeworld I've had several Chicago Electric tools, haven't really had much issues with them, but for rough work they did fine, and when you have a job that's messy a cheap tool is kind of nice, trash it on that job and throw it away when you are done if needed. Bauer is a pretty nice step forward from the Chicago Electric line for sure....Warrior isn't much better than Chicago Electric stuff in most cases too.

@wildbill23c my dad used to do the same thing and I have now inherited a lot of Chicago Electric tools because of it. They certainly have their place and I've used them many times on jobs.

That looks like a pretty solid tool, sure does beat having a heavy stapler for doing insulation
@TBKHomeworld12 күн бұрын
I completely agree, it is very lightweight and powerful for insulation, fabric, paper, etc

excellent review. Does it use proprietary Ryobi staples and brads or can generic be used?
@TBKHomeworld8 күн бұрын
Generic staples and/or brads can be used. I used Arrow in this video along w/the Ryobi stuff. I have also fed it DeWalt just because I wanted to make some people rage. :) Thank you for watching and commenting.

I bought mine for my classroom and “used” it to do my classroom board in the cafeteria. I ended up giving up on in after a couple of minutes. A fellow teacher asked how old it was… My answer… Opened it up the day before. Never even got a yellow light. Green to red in a matter of minutes.

I am sorry to hear that it had such an issue. It sounds like the battery might have been bad or possibly you got one that has a serious issue with the electronics inside of the unit. Mine goes through staples quick and never complained once when I was using it.

I picked up one of these for my wife as a Christmas gift. Not sure who will use it more.

That is awesome and hopefully you and your family enjoy it as much as we have. I constantly find one of my sons using it on various things around the land! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Nice review, thanks. Wondering if the brad nails would fully seat through 1/8 plywood, like the back of a small cabinet or similar?
@TBKHomeworld11 күн бұрын
Judging from my usage so far, I think it would do just fine. However, if you are a cabinet maker by trade it will not be your go-to, it will be your 'quick to grab and make a fast repair' tool. If you are just a homeowner trying to repair a cabinet or make one of your own then it should do great. So long as you know its limitations it will work just fine. I hope that helps. Thanks for commenting and watching.

Can one use insulated crown staples on this
@TBKHomeworld9 күн бұрын
@@nvamember i talked with a TTI representative when I bought this at the box store, he was very specific that it cannot use anything other than the items that are shipped with it. I would agree with him and I wouldn't buy it for that purpose. I hope that helps

@ yes thank you. My option seems to be to go with the Arrow ET501C

It has some good reviews on it, it should do nicely! Feel free to let me know how it works, I might end up getting something like that to help hang some lights, etc.
@pags40919 сағат бұрын
there is definitely something wrong with mine. i’ve used it just a couple of times and each time i have to wait, also i encounter a red light 85% of the time, and the battery last a very short time.
@TBKHomeworld11 сағат бұрын
That sounds like a bad battery. Did you return it and try another one or just say 'nah' and return it completely? So far ours has not had an issue and it's being used in multiple places and taken all over our property without any problems to-date. Stinks when folks get a bad one and it fails so miserably.
