So why do people call it Holy Land? They should call it "normal land" or " unholy land"? Jewish people venerate the tomb of its ancestors. They believe they are holy. The Jews, inlcuding Jesus, venerate the Temple, becuase they believe it is holy. The Bible cites instances where relics are venerated because they are donsidered "holy " Reducing these relics as just "mere stones" and "unholy" is in fact blasphemous

You could have the experience by just meditating on the sufferings of Jesus. But people go there, even the Protestants, evanglicals, anti Catholics, anti Orthodox, admit it or not, because they considered it holy. God was once present in these relics and places. Its closer to God than anywhere else where God hasnt been. Evangelicals just hate it because, they dont have legitimate share in Church history as evidence by the continued presence of Catholics and Orthodox in the Holy Land .

We must remember Christ is with us anywhere in this world as long we accept him in our hearts. I see far too many people worshiping the stone where he might of been laid or the street he had walked, even placing materialistic items on them so it can be blessed.

Specific places carry special blessings as deigned by God, So nothing wrong in touching and kissing a stone where Jesus body was laid or prepared. There was a stone that Jacob put his head on, Ebenezer if that stone was there this day I'm sure people would have touched, felt or kissed it. Through everything God is glorified, be it a lily of Sharon valley or the cedar of Lebanon

No one worship stones for heaven sake’s. We honor, and we leave here we’re Jesus wants touchdown was. It is holy ground like he said to Moses at the burning bush. Were the lord has touched is holy. We don’t worship here for heaven sake’s we worship Jesus, but we honor it because that’s where he was once.
