thanks chris, its hard to film multiple models as they are passing every few seconds so if I film one particular model all around the circuit I will miss 3 or 4 screaming past ! so now I just film them screaming past even if it is repetitive !

Those we're some sweet warbirds, & some unfortunate landings - hope my retracts don't fold up on me like that 1 guys did..good Lord.!! & Dang they seemed to be coming in quite hot for landing, was there a cross wind by chance? Thanks for the video!

once you get into the 1/4 to 1/3 scale warbirds with retracts bob your in a whole world of pain when It starts to go wrong and most of the time you just sit back and enjoy the ride im afraid, ive seen it many times over the years while filming these big birds - sometimes it tragic to watch grown men close to tears !

thanks for the advice although after looking on your channel zero I dont see how you can judge when you've never flown a 1/4 scale 60lb model costing around £3,000 in front of 2,000 people - just saying !

tbobborap1 Advice? Wasn't giving advice, just passing comment. You shouldn't judge people's experience by the content of their feed. I actually fly a 20% mustang and a 25% zero amongst other scale and sport planes. I would have hoped that people display flying would exhibit a better level of pilot skill. I spits are trickier to land than some but several basic errors are exhibited here, mostly way too much air speed being carried

Observation, not advice, They weren't all bad, there was one Spitfire that landed really nice, the rest seemed to be forced landings, too much airspeed and/or altitude when coming in.

I think its a bit different when your there nimrod flying a 1/4 scale model that prob stands you around £2,500 - £3,500 in front of a couple of thousand people with a 15 mph crosswind and the marshals are insistent that you land quickly because their schedule might be slipping by 3 minutes, I guess from your comments you fly these types of models in that situation all the time to give these guys your observations - just saying !
