I had read somewhere that SDM 660 is generally better than SDM 6225 because it has faster connection speeds, improved image quality, and better graphics performance. But the difference in my opinion is quite less when it comes to actual performance of both the chips on day to day usage.

Hi Harry. With this device. While the device is connected to the car's USB socket through the USB-C socket. Can I connect the USB dashcam through the other USB-A socket ON this device? Since the dashcam has its own app and is located in the dashcam device. Do you think it will work if I install the USB dashcam through the USB-A socket ON this device? Thanks.

Hello, I recently received T box max with USB for my Kia Sonet. I have noticed the RGB colors are still on even after the car is off. Does the Tbox max shutdown after car is shut down? Also while booting up, its automatically getting loaded in Apple car play mode instead of Android auto, anyway to have it launched in Android auto by default? Hi, I always disconnect the device cable from the car usb port as that will impact the car's battery. It should auto-shut off after 5 minutes but I wouldn't recommend it. Also, there seems to be some confusion. The Tbox max works in cars that have wired apple carplay only, not android auto. Meaning that it will always show up under apple carplay on the screen. Bro a small update. I was able to view it full screen :) Take kia android auto or Android play after disconnecting USB and turn the split screen off . Connect the tbox back, it will recalibrate and turn into full screen :)

are you referring to powering on the tbox max itself? that will work even without any other mobile device. however, if you are referring to wireless android auto/apple carplay, the one selected in the menu of the interface would work first.

As long as the cars have wired apple carplay these devices work even if they have wireless connectivity, it's what I've been informed. You can try ordering it and if it isn't compatible then you get the option to return it within a period of time. Alternatively, I would recommend you get it confirmed by the brand prior to making a purchase.

I haven't tried connecting a flash drive of that capacity but it should support just fine, I believe. And yes, both the micro sd card and usb a ports can be used together like I showed in the video @ 4:25

The clock can be placed on the left side too if the car's infotainment system allows it in it's own settings. Unfortunately, in my car model and several other cars, the full screen option is not available for most android ai boxes.

Max has the USB A port that can be used for a pendrive, mouse/keyboard or to power a dashcam. Performance wise, they are quite similar. Looks wise, Max is better and has the RGB lights. Price wise, Max is $17 more expensive than the Plus (top variant).

That is strange, if you compare SM6225 vs SDM660, SM6225 usually comes out on top. I have checked several benchmark sites that confirmes this. SDM660 is also an Older CPU.
