I love your videos!! I'm sorry that you are not as excited about the haul this month. Would it help to have a few different ways to pick the books each month? Maybe have another TBR jar with fun prompts of how to pick a book, that way you pick the book you actually want to read that fits the description of the prompt. Just a thought. I love that you have a range of books in your collection, makes the blind picks more interesting!

I read The Godfather this year. Was a bit nervous to start it, but ended up quite liking it. And also enjoyed your video!

Since I was so scared to start it, I actually started reading The Godfather this morning, and its a lot easier to get into than I was worrying about! But it's a long one still, so we'll see how I go!

I felt that your TBR felt a bit heavy this month. I loved the recommendations in the winter reads one better. Hope you find some treasure in here but sometimes the jar doesnt fit the mood. I am feeling like that with my library picks. My collection is much better.

I think The Godfather might surprise you in a good way! My sister insisted I read it even though i don't like mafia, crime or family type stories...but i loved it! This was about fifteen years ago though, but eventually I'd like to reread it.

Since filming this I actually started it and I was pleasantly surprised 😅 I was so dramatic but it’s actually a pretty pacy / easy read so far!

The Woods in Midwinter is only 80 pages maybe less. You can read it very quickly. I felt it should have been expanded but the illustrations were lovely.

Very curious to see what you think of The Wolf and the Woodsman as I read that one in November and it’s probably one of my least favourites of the year - but I loved A Study in Drowning! Ava Reid is quite wobbly for me so far
