Can I ask why you won’t read any of Colleen hoovers books? If you don’t mind me asking! Just when you said about reading heart bones, I loved heart bones🥰x

my assumption (i can’t speak for her) would be because of CoHo’s many many controversies. i would highly recommend looking up weirdo book club or reads with rachel or withcindys videos on her books and why the controversy is a hot topic in the book community. (also i’ve seen a lot of book reviews mention coho is also just a bad writer…)

Just as this comment says, she has just too much controversy around her and none of it sits well with me, I will say though before all of the controversy I had read 4 of her books and 3 of them really didn't sit well with me, they have a lot of heavy topics and I found that some of these books didn't need those topics in them so I stopped reading her because I just knew that any book I picked up by her would just be too much for me🙌🏽 buttt that's just my thoughts and opinions and anything I say I'd recommend to do research on it so you can see the facts instead of just taking my word☺️

Spot on for me, her topics are also just a bit much for me and I feel like a lot of damage/ trauma in her books doesn't need to be in them, that her plot and story could continue without bringing a lot of these topics into it🙌🏽
