Butcher and blackbird def isn’t a dark romance surprisingly. It’s literally a romcom about serial killers. I promise you’ll laugh when you read it because it’s not scary at all. Don’t worry☺️🫶🏼 and the audio for it is really good!

The ACOTAR series is my absolute fav but I will say I think I’m the only person on the planet who didn’t love silver flames... Nesta just wasn’t redeemed for me personally but I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it! Hope you end up loving it!🤗

I do believe it’s considered a dark romantic comedy so it’s not extremely dark but since there is the dark elements i think it’s still considered dark romance with comedy included if I’m correct I read it and am probably going to reread before I read the second 😂

I was letting her know it’s not actually very dark at all so not to worry about being scared of it… most dark romances are very dark with very triggering content. This one is dark simply for the sake of it being about murder but it’s very light hearted and comedic even considering the premise of the book.

The dark verse series by runyx is one of my favorite series so if you like Gothikana I would definitely recommend reading her other series. It definitely has dark themes but like the romance isn’t really that dark.

@@tiffanieleighann I read the Zodiac academy series which has some really, really long books (two of them are over 1000 pages on Kindle) so I guess I can read all of these books. I highly recommend Zodiac academy as well because they're really good (the romances and the found family are top tier) and it kind of gives ACOTAR and Harry Potter vibes (I love all of those books as well).
