I love how Kreese tells Johnny about the technique of attacking when your opponent thinks you are retreating, then at the end you see Kreese using it on Johnny with that half-smirk. Such great writing.

They'll be recurring going forward like Bert. @10:01 Paul Walter Hauser has come a long way since his appearance here on Cobra Kai. He's been in Beats, Cruella, Da 5 Bloods, and Black Klansman among other films. In fact, Khalil Everage (Chris) stars in the movie Beats with Paul. Anthony Anderson is also in the film.

The thing about John Kreese is that deep down he truly does care for Johnny so in that scene where he got what he wanted and was putting on a show it wasn't 100% acting he was being somewhat genuine combined with manipulation which made him convincing. He's a pretty complex character as you'll see later on when you get more of his backstory. I enjoy John Kreese a lot more in the show then I did in the movies I mean he was great in the films as a one-note villain but the show humanizes him a lot better.

Did you guys know that this started on KZbin Red? That is why these first 2 seasons are like the first 3 from Lucifer, kinda all over the place, it wasn't until Netflix took it over and well they do what Netflix does and throw a shit load of money to make it better. Another reason why we LOVE it so much is because of all the people that they bring back. It is no secret, because the producers have come out saying that they are willing and will bring back people from the for sure the first 2 flims (not so sure about the 3rd one though); you will see them as the series goes through; it's not a show for just the fans to reminisce about the actors from the films, but for actors that well enjoyed watching to have their time again, in front of another group of young fans. As for what Kreese said about how the kids of this society have become weak and "pussies", it actually is true; The Undertaker (the wrestler), said that this new generation of wrestlers didn't do the whole working your way up, that they didn't pay their dues. It has even spread to the military. I still have friends that are still in back when I was in and have said that these kids (but the act like kids even at 23), they are out of shape, haven't ever done a bed in their lives, clean or washed anything, didn't play any sports so PT is going to feel like they are dying and just think about it like this, these are the young men and women going to war. I am like Johnny in a sense; I keep getting told that it's not "PC", I just tell them to go fuck themselves if they can't take some criticism. Even at my kids School, I told already told their Principal, that I told my kids that if they get bullied to punch their in the face, take them to the ground and beat the crap out of them until the teachers break it off; so I told him we will be seeing a lot of each other. And the reason why I told my kids this, is 2 things will happen: 1) You will never be bullied again and 2) That bully will never bully anyone again, because that bully is not just being a bully to one kid!

Netflix didn’t make this show any better. They did inject money for the 4th season and gave it a bigger platform. But the first 3 season were all filmed and done with on KZbin red/premium. Transfer happened and 3rd season premiered on Netflix.

I left this comment in the reaction to Master and Commander, it got a lot of likes but I think you guys missed it. :) The young actor playing the young gentleman who lost his arm also played Octavian in the fantastic tv-series Rome, which would make for a great reaction. There are only two seasons, and 10-ish episodes each. Mostly told through the perspective of two Roman soldiers, Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, with season one's backstory focusing on Julius Caesar, and the second on Octavian and the power struggle between him and Marc Anthony. Great cast and performances all around. Quite a violent story obviously, but well worth a watch.. :)

The biggest problem is that he does compare himself to his old teacher. He put Mr. Mr. Miyagi on such a high pedestal, now he thinks everything has to be the same way and when no one listens to his way. He gets petty and tempered and turns into a jerk. At least that's what I see in Daniel these days.

FYI, The inside of a cement truck looks nothing like that. It's raised and swirled (as if a giant mop handle screws in) so the turning keeps the cement swirling. If it was smooth you'd have a cement block inside. Still LOVE that scene's creativity though.

well, here's the thing Robbie's mom is his legal 'guardian' not Johnny, he mentioned this in season one, he thinks his mom is taking care of things, also the tensions between Daniel and Johnny, Johnny would take in Robbie out of spite when we know Johnny is not in a good situation. Both his parents neglect him and Johnny doesn't know where to start and he is only fueled by the fact he doesn't want Daniel with him.

If you can't get in touch with the legal guardian but can with the other parent you should still talk to them. Daniel didn't even try because he's too much of a hot headed dink. Johnny's situation is not that bad. It's definitely a better one than his worthless drug addict ex wife is in. She's barely home and even when she is she's high, drunk or passed out underneath whatever man she met the night before. Johnny is trying to change and do better which is more than can be said for his ex.
