Duterte is not perfect, and he is far from being a saint. He has made both right and wrong decisions. Just like other past presidents, he had his strengths and weaknesses. However, one thing is certain: the country was not as chaotic during his time. We didn’t worry about potential wars with other nations back then. Public order improvements were instantly felt. The negative stories about him mostly came from malicious individuals or media outlets trying to undermine him. The majority of Filipinos during his presidency felt the positive changes, which is why the current president had a significant lead in the elections, as people believed he would continue the previous administration’s work. Even now, Duterte’s approval remains high in surveys. (Opinion ko ito based sa observations ko. Kung may magagalit sa comment ko, not my problem anymore)

I disagree... during D30s regime. it was chaotic and full of fear.. fear to be killedor eliminated... e.g. what happened to Percy Lapid though he was killed right after PBBM's first few months in power coz Bantag was still around... opinion/observation ko lang ito ha.. peace!

We enjoyed peace in our community, especially when the known addicts and criminals in our area disappeared (nagbalikan na ulit ngayon). Even though life was difficult, we managed to do our jobs because the area was peaceful. I’m not aware of the connection between Bantag and Percy Lapid throughout the Duterte presidency, but as you mentioned, it was your observation, okay...
