I’m crazy over suju back in the day and through Suju I discover SNSD but GEE is not my cup of tea until they release The Boys and i become hardcore SONE😂 Then i discover Big Bang then stan for both group. I Got a Boy won the award for Video of the Year at the first KZbin music award in 2013 beating other popular nominees like Justin Bieber and Psy. While this wasn't the song that got me into K-pop this was the first hyped comeback of a K-pop group I had got into after I had discovered it. I remember how cool all the hyping of their comeback was for this song. Also, I remember how many of us were just as confused as Dezzy at first as it was so different. It took a couple listens to really appreciate what an incredible song it was because there was so much going on in it.

I highly suggest. SNSD - Party, Lion Heart, Gee, Hoot, Run Devil Run. Back then 2ne1 and SNSD were the biggest girl group rivals. I'm a blackjack but I also like GG both groups have their own style. And most girl groups concept nowadays I can say were based on these 2 groups.

From what I remember: at the time the group was having some fear of being "pigeon holed". The girls wanted to show just what they where capable of and so we got this eclectic masterpiece. They showed power, sex appeal, range, and style in a way that cemented them as one of Kpop's biggest presences. We are STILL admiring this 5 minutes of perfection 7 years later. Respect.

this type of song called *Hybrid song.* SM try this kind of song for the first time to Shinee when they released "Sherlock". Sherlock consists of 2 songs. Clue + Note.
