I missed the way when girl groups used to belt this high notes because it was very common back then where they hit high notes while performing live, I don't see it very much these day but I can't deny that there are alot of powerful vocalists out ther on their groups and I just wish they can show it off more through their music. 5:02 that's Taeyeon, she's the leader also the main vocal in the group. She has her own solo songs you should check it out. It's amazing. I recommend 'I'. 6:45 that's Jessica, this is where it gets a lil sad, she was removed from the group by SM itself back in 2014 if I'm not mistaken due to certain issues. It's a long story you can google it if you want to know more. Her departure from GG was the worst phase in SONE's (the fandom) life. I even cried because she was my bias TT. But they moved on now and the fans respect that 👌. We still love them tho. 2:40 that's Tiffany, second lead vocal after Taeyeon. She was born and raised in California, so she's fluent in english, same goes to Jessica, she also fluent in english I forgot to mention it lol. Well Tiffany now doing her solo career in us, she has few solo english songs you can check out, I recommend 'Teach You'. There seriously is no other group like Girls Generation. Such talented girls and songs that make even new fans nostalgic. I can't wait for them to reunite for their 12 year anniversary this year. Most of the girls have made their solo debuts by now (all except Sunny I think who's the girl with the short hair): Taeyeon: main vocal and leader. She has a HUGELY successful solo career with so many great and diverse songs. I definitely recommend- I, Why, Fine, I got love, UR and Time lapse. Tiffany: because she's American she's based back in LA again and releases so many English bops. She had a Korean ep (I just wanna dance) but her English singles are- Over my skin, Teach you, Peppermint. Seohyun: released her debut ep 'Don't say no' last year and shocked everyone by doing the sexiest concept out of the members despite being the maknae. Yuri: Her solo ep was released a few months ago called Into year and it's a whole ass BOP. Hyoyeon: she has 4 singles released (mystery, Wannabe, Sober, pink right now) and actually likes to DJ now. Hyoyeon songs are mainly dance tracks. Yoona: she's released a few singles here and there. My personal favourite is 'when the wind blows'. She releases mainly soft ballads. Jessica: even though she left Snsd back in 2014 she actually released a few solo eps and my favourite song by her is 'Fly' Sorry for the long comment i just wanted to give you the option if you were interested. If you love their vocals I definitely recommend checking out Taeyeon first as she never disappoints.

Thank you for recognizing their vocals! Their vocal line is one of the strongest in kpop girl groups that I can think of especially for their generation. Many people undermine their natural talents or say it's just Taeyeon but honestly Seohyun, Tiffany, and Sunny are better than some main vocals and that's saying a lot considering the talent in the industry! Also, considering Taeyeon is the best vocalist and Yoona is probably the weakest in the group, the fact that you heard them side by side and felt they were both strong says a lot about the overall ability in the group!

Girls Generation is the Legendary Girl Group. They are the most popular group and known as the Queen of KPOP. I appreciate your appreciation for girl groups so much XD A group that has IMPECCABLE vocals and needs more recognition is Ladies' Code. They mostly known to some for having 2 of their original 5 members die in a tragic car accident, but I hate for people to just know them that far and then no further. They made amazing music when they had 5 members and they make amazing music now as 3: from 5-member era my FAVORITE song is Hate You (VERY cool, unique, and a fantastic video) and from the new era I like both Galaxy and The Rain equally.
