I might not own a farm but I can understand the satisfaction of catching those animals and minimizing the destruction they bring to a farmer’s crops.

I like it. You came up with a faster way to load hogs. The faster the music plays, the faster the hogs load. Cool video.

A couple of those hogs repeatedly attacked the fence separating them from the trapper. They would charge, run off, and charge again. Even if I had a shotgun handy, I would be very worried if I ever encountered a hog in the wild whose attack charges were so relentless.

EXCELLENT ! A One Man Show ! You have gotten this down to a science ! Someone posted their belief that cheaper fencing should be developed to protect farm fields. Let the little beasts live in peace . . . I wish that was funny. 150 - 400 pound adults destroying my neighbors barley and potato fields are definitely not a laughing matter. This person obviously has no idea how big this invasive, non-indigenous swine problem is. And "fencing them out" would be a VERY BIG endeavor requiring thousands of miles of fencing, of which it's our guess-timation we would need to bury 2 feet of the required 6 foot fence. Our Conclusion ! $250 in hog panels, stakes, wire, some prefab gates, a drop feeder, ect. and/or some rifle ammo puts food on the table and keeps them at bay. They are dangerous, carry diseases to native wild and domestic animals and humans, destroy wild and domestic plants as well as habitat in general , dig holes in and rip up fields, disrupt watershed, pollute waterways, eat ground dwelling animals, compete with indigenous species, ect. We could build that wall, trap them and send the ones we don't eat "south". . . Did I say that out loud ?

We can build barriers across rugged landscapes of national borders to keep people away, but we can't keep the animals away from the crops?!? They've been around for five hundred years or more. In today's mixed world, it's too difficult to keep everything strictly native. Let us focus on growing and protecting the crops. I am sure with our so called intelligence and tech know how, there is a better way. A more permanent, cruel free, and win win solution for the farmers and the animals. Growing indoors is a good idea for the future to keep the crops organic and the animals at bay. They are intelligent enough to stay away and look for food elsewhere away from human settlements. We are just encouraging and enticing them by 'leaving the door open and food out'. Already we can cage and fence them in shooting preserves, so it is possible to develop better barriers to keep them away from the farmer's crops instead of inflicting pain and suffering on them. Stop using excuses for cruelty towards these beautiful creatures who are just trying to survive and be themselves. Develop compassion for the animals in your cold and cruel heart. Go vegetarian to help you respect the animals and other people as well.

Deriving pleasure from the pain, agony, and suffering of other beings is a mental disorder called sadism. People who call other idiots are talking about themselves, and showing their level of intellect to the whole world. Plus, being heartless and arrogant! Why fight with the hogs to get into the trailer, just shoot them, its easier and you don't have to chase pigs around in circles, .22 cal bullets are dirt cheap and they don't make a big mess like what the pig hunters use in their hunts (6.5, 6.8, 7.0 mm or .308, .300 mags, .45-70), all which makes a big hole and lots of blood spill, .22 in the noggin at close range stops them in their tracks and very little blood spill, just grind the blood into the dirt and rebait the trap

You obviously havent seen the amount of damage these animals do to crops i see it first hand we own a small farm in witch we grow wheat and they can come in and in one night cause so much damage we come the next day and it looks like a tractor just plowed the land we have spent thousands on fencing but they always find a way in they tear it they dig under etc. You should be glad we are trying to get rid of them because they are eating your vegan food. They are your enemy as much as they are ours. We will keep trapping them and eating them so you can eat your food.
