That is £50 in the UK, I can 3D print a much stronger one for about £2 including blade and bolts. In fact I think that can be today's project...

Is that the Cutter you purchased from the US ? I like the Comparison between those both Choppers . Btw if I cut thicker Wood I cut it from 2 or 4 sides that makes the Job easier .

Thanks for the comment. No it isn't the one from the US you will have to wait for a review of that one. Cutting from more than one side would be helpful but as I said if the section is getting too big you should probably use you hobby saw.

To be fair about it the maker states that soft woods like balsa , plastics, card can be cut. It does not claim to be able to cut hardwoods which was quite evident by the force you were exerting on the cutter lever.

micro mark chopper is all steel but it dose cost $ 45.00 . on u tube a guy shows you how to make a chopper out of wood I worked in plastics factory that is poor plastics.or to much heat on the part.
