Very well executed review. So am I right in saying, it is possible to record a 2 bar loop with loop 1 and a longer loop(say, 12 bars) on top of that with loop 2?
@guitarandgraves7 жыл бұрын
This looks like the loop pedal I've been trying to find for years. It's got every feature I need, none of the BS, and a decent price. I really like the fact that you can set it to go into overdub immediately, which for me is a must if you are using it live. Why almost every other loop pedal does not do this is beyond me. So annoying to have to wait for the loop to come around again to start overdubbing. Also the fade and tape stop functions are genius. Again why do so many other pedals lack a musical way to stop the loop? This really seems like a pedal that's designed to be used live, and not just a practice toy.

Hi, If you mean in the sync mode, i agree with you but in this case there is no other place for a B section, what do you think?

Very nice tutorial. Very much appreciated. In reference to switches on the back that change the record, playback operation, do you have any information that specifically addresses how that process works?

Great pedal! The sync feature definitely helps a ton for multiple sections of a tune. The effects seem useless since most use a looper for acoustic guitars..Possibly if their was a delay that would respond in time, i would have a use for it

If you have it set to overdub each time you tap the switch, and the light remains red, how does the pedal know when you are done overdubbing and just want the loop to play. He says just tap "the function again" and it will go into play mode. But won't that just make it go into another overdub?
@thisissalvador91592 жыл бұрын
I'm disappointed! I had the Ditto x2, I changed it and this one does not suit me. The problem is when you want to remove only 1 of the loops since 1 second of audio is heard when stepping. And the stop only serves to erase both. Do you know if this has a solution? maybe for Midi?
@jeroenjanssen51627 жыл бұрын
Great review. Thanks. One question: When you demonstrated the sync mode, what position were the dip switches in? Because loop two was twice as long as loop one.
@khalylehagood32227 жыл бұрын
Jeroen Janssen Live idk if it's dependent on the dio switches or how the pedal is, but I believe in synch mode you can lock the length to the loop while lengthening it.

Nice demo. I’m thinking most players (unless they’re multi-instrumentalists-and tasteful), already play way too busy and cluttered for the end result to actually be musical. . . As Miles used to say; “It’s not what you play - it’s what you don’t play.

@@zefMusic Yep, and it's solderless, so it's pretty easy. It's a mod to give the Korg Sample a MIDI output. the best review. You didn't show how to stop just one loop in synch mode though. No one does. Everyone is adding layers but no one is removing....lol Probably because is impossible or inconvenient

Great demo. I love my x4. While in series mode...Do you know if their is a way to arm the second loop for overdub? I know that pressing the second loop in advance arms it for playback after the first loop has completed its cycle BUT I have to hit the 2cnd loop button once again after to start recording an overdub which starts it off beat

Question please, when I record two inputs, both come out the first output together while only one comes out the second output alone. Can you have them come out each output separately? Such as a bass in one and gtr in another. I’m not sure why they’re mixed together in one output, hoping there’s a setting I can change.

any update on this?
@Tapepusher3 жыл бұрын
@@bertsbase It turned out I was sending both sides to the pedal by accident. As in, I was sending a signal form Ableton into the pedal hat I didnt know of. So, I meticulously checked the chain form instrument to pedal to DAW and it worked.

Is it possible to stop Loop1 and Loop2 individually? if so. how?
@greenibanez17 жыл бұрын
In sync mode Loop1 and Loop2 can be stopped individually with a double tap to their respective switches. In serial mode Loop1 can be stopped individually by tapping on Loop2 or double tapping on Loop2 (double tapping will immediately switch to Loop2, single tapping will allow Loop1 to finish before switching to Loop2)

I had issues with static noises and start-up issues constantly even after updating the firmware. Totally unreliable. Seems like lots of people have had issues with this pedal. It sucks because this pedal has everything I want and need in a looper at a great price. If you're considering buying do some research on some of the problems with this device first.
