I'm afraid I strongly disagree. I bought a TC electronic pedal and it was faulty. I contacted TC electronics and their reply was short, glib, and didn't help. I would advise everyone to avoid TC products.

Bought it while on holiday. Now I have to spend $25 sending a $100 pedal to Denmark to get fixed. Does that seem fair to you?
@karlhenrikarendt10 жыл бұрын
As a business man I can understand that they can not pay freight to everyone who think they have a faulty product. Maybe 90% of those who think they have a bad product, actually just didn't understand how to use it correctly. I'm not saying thats your case. The procedure is that you give a faulty product to a shop where you bought it. Then they handle it with the manufacturer, and then return a fixed or a new product to you. When you buy it abroad, then its not so convenient to bring it back to them. I understand it's not a nice situation for you, but I think we are a lot of people who has tried to buy something abroad, and had some kind of an issue with it. I hope the 25$ won't kill you :-)

Andy, I'm still searching for the perfect single repeat that mimics Scotty Moore's tape echo in the back of the amp. That perfect delay time around 250 milliseconds... no slower than 300 no faster than 150... there's a sweet spot in there... you can hear it if you listen to Elvis' "baby let's play house". I love the tone of my Lovepedal Echo baby but I can't dial in that sweet spot no matter how hard I try. I can find it on my HARDWIRE delay (that I bought from PGS years ago!) but when you turn it off and on again it's the wrong speed... and the "clicks" on the time knob sometimes give you two wrong choices... sometimes not. Can you do a demonstration of a delay that can get that Scotty Moore tape sound and hold it's time? ... and is smallish.. I know I could spend $300 for a Strymon, but besides being a lot of money for a single repeat, it's bulky and big for such a small job. Maybe I'll write them and encourage an El-Cap mini. :-) - Anyway when something comes out that gets that sound, I'd love it if you demo'd it like a 1955 Elvis recording. - As always, Thank you!
@downwithdixie10 жыл бұрын
I think their are specific toneprints made just for slapback (they narrow the delay range so you can find your sweet spot). Or just make your own toneprint and set the range from 150-250, bam!

How many tone prints can you store in the pedal? One at a time? Awesome demo
@CapeAlan10 жыл бұрын
Hey! I own the Transition Delay and you can use 1 toneprint at a time. So you'll pick out a toneprint, beam it through your pickup and that's the tone you'll have until you make an adjustment or beam another toneprint.

What is the basic sound of the pedal, without the Tonerpint? Is it a digital type, tape, analog, etc...
@ProGuitarShopDemos3 жыл бұрын
There is no 'basic sound' without a Toneprint. Think of the Toneprints as presets that firstly select one of the many modes -- analog, digital, tape etc and then the settings within them. The default Toneprint in the Flashback Mini is their analog delay with vibrato. Andy

This is not clear to me at all. How many presets can you load into the pedal at any one time? If the answer is one, does that mean I need to beam a new preset into the pedal with my phone every time I want to change the preset?
@savanaviolenta7 жыл бұрын
One
@gabopalacios20287 жыл бұрын
Yes. If you want to change your delay you have to beam a new one every time. I know it sounds like a deal breaker but trust me: once you've listened to almost every delay on the TC's library you get to love just a couple of them and you'll find yourself playing most of the times with just one delay sound. I had the Flashback x4 and most of my presets were the EP3 mode but different tempos and feedback

It doesn't. You hold the switch and strum instead. It mutes the signal. Convenient feature for a mini pedal, but not if you want to change the tempo on the fly.
@jakollee8 жыл бұрын
I don't really see how the strum-tempo is any different from tap-tempo for on-the-fly changes; both take a few moments away from your playing, no?

Great question! The newer Flashback 2 Mini has a Tap Tempo option within the TonePrint app. This here first version has Audio Tapping which sets the tempo by holding down the switch and strumming the strings. Both methods work well.

I have a dd6, which obviously has more features. Done around 500 gigs with it and I love it. But this is smaller, and my board needs to be road-friendly due to the amount I gig. Everything is heading the computer software root anyways, so I'd say this.... Because you can always get 2, have the same amount of space taken up as the boss, and twice the options 😎

@@Prajnana I haven't tried Donner, but the analog delay is chea and great, there is also an ibanez mini delay that is as good. And if you want to pay more money, go for the mini Carbon copy. All of them, offer analog feeling to the delay.
