Thanks for the nice comment! Yes, I think many ppl are getting a bit disappointed because they expect something different.. To me, it really excels at what it's supposed to do! Excellent modulation and time based effects and option to use it in a simple way via great default presets or also complex deep parameter editing 👌🏼

Thanks! Loved all of your reviews on this. Just got mine last week and WOW! I’m running a mooer preamp live in the fox loop (preamp live has killer amp and can sims btw) into the power amp section of 2 amps in stereo. Definitely one of my favorite pedals! And the audio video you posted using this unit Rocked!

Midi program change per switch is necessary to control other devices. An example is the Strymon Iridium. Being able to program a midi program change in each footswich will make interacting with the Strymon a breeze.

Hi. Very interesting thanks. 1/When we recall one memory can we have some effects on and some off and can we recall with a midi pedal controller or with a daw for tempo synchronization and changes. Some guys says that the pedal version is better Compression like hyper gravity…? Thanks for your time and take care.

Thanks for the comment! I believe this is possible, but not completely sure as I didn't mess with the midi functions. I haven't compared any of the individual pedals side by side and I never tried the Hypergravity pedal. Many people claim the individual effects are different but in my opinion the difference is minor. I have the Flashback 2 mini delay and sub'n'up as individual pedals and I don't think they're any better/worse than the same FX in the Plethora. I hope that helps!

Dá p usar o o Pitch Shifter para "desafinar" meio ou um tom abaixo numa musica e voltar a afinação original? Em que posição vc sugeriria usar o Spectradrive (pre-amp + compressor + drive da TC para baixo), na entrada, na saída ou em FX loop? Valeu!

Fala Otavio, tudo tranquilo e aí? Eu não sou baixista pra te dar uma opinião muito boa, mas eu gostei bastante do pouco que usei com o baixo. O Sub'n'up funcionou muito bem pra uns riffs pesados, mas eu não tentei usar o pitch shifter pra tocar uma música inteira em outra afinação. Quanto ao preamp, eu recomendaria o FX loop como a posição mais versátil pra você poder colocar efeitos antes e depois do preamp. Eu gostei muito do Corona Chorus também.. Nunca tinha usado chorus no baixo e gostei muito. O compressor é bem útil também, dá pra settar de várias maneiras e me ajudou bastante a deixar o som do baixo mais limpo e redondo pq minha pegada no baixo não é muito afiada hahah 🙄

Are the effects faithful to their stompbox counterparts? How is the sentry noise gate?

I haven't compared it myself... I've read the effects in the Plethora may sound different than the stomp boxes with the same settings, but it's possible to correct it and make it sound close enough. I liked the noise gate... Think it does what it's supposed to do and it's easy to adjust. But I don't usually play high gain so I also haven't tried any other noise gate pedal to compare it to...

Thanks for the comment. Now with an expression pedal I don't really know. I like the TC Electronic Plethora x5 and the Nux Cerberus a lot, because they offer this stomp box feel and you get more effects/flexibility for your money compared to individual stomp boxes. They both have a connection for an external expression pedal. I think most effect processors with in-built expression pedal (check Mooer, Nux, Helix, Boss) are rather more digital, LCD-screens, and pre-set oriented than these two options that I've mentioned.

Hi, I've a few questions and need some help :) I just got an lamp amp, and have drive pedals and prosesor which is boss gt-1 all in one device. But I can clearly say that boss gt-1 kills my lamp amp tone and make it digital, and I decided to create an analog pedal setup with effects like hall of fame2, flashback2 etc. I have a doubt on there. Has Plethora the same sound with those pedals or it is like a clone? And second question is that: Assume that I got plethora and have distortion pedals. How to make a chain with them using amp's send-return fx? Thanks noww

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I usually like to keep my drives and amp analog, if possible. The algorithms on the Plethora are the same as in the individual units like the Hall of Fame 2 or Flashback 2 and so on. If not identical, they should sound pretty similar and you can definitely tweak them to sound great. In terms of signal chain, the Plethora has an effects loop, so there are many options. For example: Guitar -> Drives -> Plethora Input -> Compressor, phaser, chorus, any other effect -> Plethora FX Send -> Amp Input -> Amp FX Send -> Plethora FX Return -> Tremolo, Delay, Reverb, any other effect -> Plethora Out -> Amp FX Return If you route it this way, you'd have your drives, compressor, phaser, chorus going into the front end of your amp, while tremolo, delay, reverb will be on the FX loop. That is a very good question that I do not know the answer :-( sorry... it should be possible from a software perspective, but I am not sure if they implemented that

I have an HX Stomp but I think I need more switches free for Drives and change amps, and I was thinking to get the Plethora for all my Effects and using midi for set up each presets, do you think worth the combination of both units ?

You can certainly can get some killer sounds with both of them, but there will also be some overlap in terms of effects. I know you can use MIDI devices to control the Plethora, but I am not 100% sure that you can use the Plethora to control other MIDI devices. You should probably confirm that beforehand, otherwise you'd better just get a MIDI controller for your HX Stomp

Hi, please note that the counterparts, even though coming as individual stomp box units, are not really analog circuits but digital models. The models are the same as in the Plethora. I only have the Flashback 2 Mini as a standalone pedal. The Plethora sounds pretty good and close enough to the flashback sound in my head that I've never felt the need for a back-to-back comparison. I feel the differences would be marginal, if any. I hope that helps and just let me know if you have any more questions! Cheers

That would be an interesting use for this as the product is originally designed for guitar and bass. I am not sure how the effects would work with the voice and if the levels would be adequate and etc. It only has 1 input, so you would need some sort of mixer/adapter to plug two mics into it. You could give it a try, but the product is clearly not designed for this. It could amazing, it could be horrible, or maybe it does not work at all. Please let me know if you decide to try it and how it goes. Best luck!

Yes, they only included 1 connection for expression 😒 You can, however, control many of effect parameters using the mash function on the footswitches... They are pressure sensitive so you can use them as an expression pedal. It's obviously not the same, but works very well for some stuff like increasing shimmer on reverbs or increasing delay feedback
