Glad there was a bass review out so quick! Looks super flexible - I have an EHX Pitchfork which I use to tune to BEAD and was chasing another digital octave, plus considering an EHX B9 for organ tones. This might be a more affordable one-stop solution! Thanks for the review :)

The Pitchfork is a cool pedal! We prefer the tones of the Sub 'n' Up, especially in the upper octave. You may also want to check out the Digitech Whammy Ricochet. Very similar functionality to the Pitchfork. Thank you for watching!

Thanks for the demo. How is the latency comper to the electro-harmonix micro ano pog?

Great video! Just ordered one for myself. Was thinking - from which song is that riff you played at intro and did you used toneprint settings there?

Hey, a little late but i guess it's related to 'Do i wanna know' from Arctic monkeys :)

It should be said, although Toneprint is a very cool concept, the Android version of the app is a massive pile of laggy garbage. I'm waiting and hoping TC will start listening to their Android customers and update us. I want this pedal so badly, but I'm reluctant to buy any more of the Toneprint pedals till they fix their app.

Is it any better yet?

Josh Starkey - Not really. It's still very slow. However, it is functional, so you can still load Toneprints in; just expect some mild frustration waiting for the app to load when you first open it.

HI! Nice demo! I have some questions. How about the latency compared to the EHX Micro POG? What happens, when you alter the pitch of the dry sound, ex. hand vibrato? How does the pedal track that? I ask it because if it can track nicely without sounding weird, than it can probably track down bending the notes on the harmonica....
@TheBassChannel8 жыл бұрын
From what I can tell, there is very minimal latency (if any) in the "Up" and "Sub" octaves, however I did notice the slightest bit of lag in the "Sub 2" octave. As for comparing it to the micro POG, I'm not too sure because I haven't really played with the POG line as much as I should have. It tracks hand vibrato and bends exceptionally well, so I believe it should work for whatever application in which you're using it. Thank you very much for watching!

Thanks for your quick reply! I think I will give it a shot! If it tracks the bends well, it's definitely worth trying with harmonica. :D

the sub 2 will tear speakers apart

The Sub 2 is great for guitars, not bass.

Can you make demo with sub'n'up + fuzz?

+4thRico Any particular Fuzz in mind?
@4thRico7 жыл бұрын
No, just Sub'n'up with +1octave up and sub octave ON + some fuzz and lets be Jack White of bass xD

Great channel and great content but for me as a Brit you need to slow down your speech ( I have trouble understanding the Scots and Welsh too though )

I'm just not hearing any useable tone that would work in a real band setting. Maybe if you ran it with a dry signal simultaneously

Why is yours orange and no one else's is?

Probably a white balance issue. This was only our 4th video, I believe. It took some time to fond our groove.

Too bad you can't afford one....or, apparently, a bass for that matter......otherwise, you could shoot vids in a more controlled setting. This particular review reminds me of being in a music store and having to listen to some kid play all the riffs he knows.......
