I tried it, but I didn't like it, because there's a latency, when you switch it off. I ended up with a Digitech Ventura Vibe and a Skreddy Pedals Swirl. The last one is more expensive, but definately better in sound quality. I may recommend a Drybell Vibe Machine, which is now considered to be the holy grail of uni vibes in an MXR enclosure.

Krimson Le Diable I own the MXR Uni Vibe, the Bearfoot mint green minivibe (slow), this Viscous Vibe, the Jam Pedals Retro Vibe, AND the Drybell Vibe Machine. The Drybell is my least favourite. Would you like to buy it from me? It's been in its box for a year or more. In fact, I prefer my Blackout Effectors Sibling phaser for its vibe sound more than the "Holy Grail" Drybell. That thing cost me an arm and a leg. Oh yeah, the Retro Vibe was incredible. It cost $440.00CDN. ( but free delivery lol) It lasted 24 hrs before it died. I had to send it back. I'd have to say that the Bearfoot mint green mini vibe is my fav. BUT Its too fucking noisy. It vibes the ambient noise. In fact, it amplifies the ambient noise and vibes it. You can hear it swishing VERY noticeably when you're not playing it in between notes. None of the other mod pedals do that. In fact, I sent my first one back for that same reason, thinking I had a defective unit. Nope. That's just how they roll at Bearfoot. So, I came back to the Viscous Vibe after I sent the Jam Pedals Retro vibe back. I liked the Viscous vibe unit when I first bought it, but I didn't love it. But then I remembered that you can modify the sound wave with the tone print feature. I'm gonna try that in the next few days. I've already downloaded the app. BTW, I had that same latency problem with it as you did. It turns out that it didn't like my Distortion Unit. I had the OCD drive thru my JCM 800. All my modulation pedals hated it. The Adaptive Distortion pedal with my solid state Line 6 amp. No good. I tried the EVH overdrive with my JCM 800. No good. I tried my fav, the Synvertec Distortion no. 5. It's the BEST one. Too bad my phaser, my vibes, my Strymon Ola chorus, and my Strymon Deco could not get along with ANY dirt boxes. So I just use a barely palatable dirt setting on my Line 6 Spider amp with no dirt box. I put all my dirt pedals back in their boxes in my closet and VOILA, all the other pedals started working right again. However, I doubt your pedal chain is as neurotic and long as mine. Try putting your Viscous Vibe BEFORE your dirt. Mine worked better when I tried that and that latency issue disappeared. NO DIRT ALLOWED I guess.

Krimson Le Diable You can disable the latency, it’s in the manual. It’s there to simulate a rotary speaker stopping but yeah, it’s easy to disable it.
