Holy crud... Your pinsetter just keeps getting better every time. (and faster!) It's getting very close to completion! 😊 I am curious about the strike detection though; what happened to it? 😐
@ThinkCleverAndSmart3 жыл бұрын
It still works! I haven't actually showed how it works now though. Will do next time I'm filming in that area! Basically there's a color sensor, and then there's a colored brick built tower on top of the setting table. Each color represents one height, and the color sensor then sees what color is in front of it depending on how low the setting table went. Strike is lowest, at green color. Pins left is yellow and off spot is red. :)

I know this thing doesn't see super high lineage... and it is legos.... but about what would you say is your frames per stop
@ThinkCleverAndSmart3 жыл бұрын
It’s a good question! I would say with my current distributor it’s about 2 frames until I need to adjust something lol. But I have a redesign in mind that should increase that by maybe at least 10 times. At that point I can probably say it’s finished for now, and then after having instructions I could push updates with fixes to make it even more reliable. :)

I’ve been thinking about it but the difference is quite small. Just the sweep and table mounts are the same as on an AMF pinspotter and that’s about it
