I swear Yu-Gi-Oh players are the biggest whiners in the world and don't know what they want. You were all complaining about Snake Eyes and Tenpai Dragon in the comments, screaming for OSS ban and Sangen Kaimen limit, you get them and then you complain they actually did it? At this point you are just complaining for the sake if it.

Damn it’s almost like the reason people wanted it banned was that the engine priced them out of the format and now that the engine is cheap and they just got to play with the cards, they’re disappointed their tier 2 deck got hit.

Not me, I'm happy to see those decks gone! SE and Tenpai are some of the most unfun decks to play and play against, I don't care if they're budget/tier 2 now, good riddance!

I know the banlist is basically only used to push new products but this feels extra scummy. Snake Eyes finally gets affordable and they kill it a month after the reprints. Why would I buy anything from the next Rarirty Collection with any sort of confidence?

Because we’re heading into a format that’s been solved for months, even more expensive, and the only decks that were addressed were already tier 2 or lower. Nothing interesting came back, all the unhits were already done in Master Duel and by the OCG months ago.

I don't get why people say it's a bad list, they killed Tenpai and Snake-Eyes and they severely weakened Yubel. I agree that there could have been some more unlimits, but it was a solid list overall.

@ I guess so. But, they were kinda due for a smackdown. I was meaning something like bringing back Anaconda. Or, Mystic Mine. lol Something that would shake up the game. I get Konami has to sell the new Ryzeal etc. Game is changing to a much more fast “interactive” game where both players have the opportunity to continuous play on either turn, and new summoning mechanics, buffing up old ones etc.

@@denrichmorales4704 Tenpai’s play style is a deck that offers a low effort / low ceiling high win rate deck that doesn’t offer much room to interact. Leading into summon Chundra and winning the game and a deck that plays on a built in no interaction. A blanket protect all field spell. It also runs shifter.

Yep, literally just brought it together. Always go for mid decks and be proactive about upcoming meta. Use the meta decks for like a month and sell asap

OSS being hit is not only a cynical move just to push more product, but it’s also emblematic of what will kill this game in the end. Constantly having to buy new cards just to be competitive is such a bad deal, and now it’s to the point where you can play a deck in Magic and have it be legal longer than a deck in Yugioh. Why even play Yugioh unless you’re just a slave to the game?
