The nice thing with Aerial is that you can theorically send something like Statue of the Abyss or Anubis or smth and you could reborn it off of Mucracker or Yama. I think especially Abyss would be really great in a "Fiendsmith t0" format (but also against decks such as Tenpai, Voiceless Voice, Ritual Beast...), especially because they have to get rid of it without directly going to the bp

It's incredible how the Fiendsmith engine was literally powercreeped in days. Like not even in sets, but the Fiendsmith engine with the new TCG exclusives is incredibly better than it before those exclusives. Insane

Wait, so can someone explain the new Necroequip Monster to me? It says that it requires "1 Monster equipped with a Monster Card + 1 Fiend Monster Card" sent from hand and/or field to the GY. So why could it be done with just 1 Monster being equipped with a Monster Card and with that only fulfilling the first Part of the needed Materials? Am I missing something?

So that Fiendsmith is the monster that has a monster card equip and the link 1 equipped is fiend monster card Since it say monster card that means if it is a fiend monster card no matter what the state is on the board u can contact fusion with that no matter what the form is the fiend monster card as long as you can fulfill it's contact fusion summoning procedure (do sure you can't contact fuse with fiend pendulum monster card since it can't be sent to the graveyard)

The equipped Fiendsmith Requiem is the "Fiend Monster Card", and the Fiendsmith Engraver is the "Monster Equipped with a Monster Card"

Fiendsmith Yubel faces a major challenge with its extra deck space. By the end of the first turn, the deck has already used up around 80% of its extra deck resources. This leaves little room for a sustained grind game, severely limiting the deck's ability to perform in longer matches. The lack of remaining resources makes it difficult to maintain momentum and respond effectively to the opponent's moves as the game progresses.

The only "longer matches" in modern YGO is when both players open poorly, and you won't be going through your entire Extra like that in the first place if that happens.

they need to create a going 2nd archetype that is also exploitable as an engine that can deal with any amount of bs present on the field using a single card for full combo just like in this video, even if opponent tries to negate it, it should have inbuilt anti negation protection, then we'll talk. The worst thing is, the handtraps are great for going 2nd, there is just 1 problem: the player going first keeps their handtraps and cripples your already crippled going 2nd turn. All handtraps should be erratad to only be activatable if you control NO CARDS. This will solve the issue and then playing going 2nd will be possible. Ban called by the grave that card is no longer needed, the decks are now more than capable of going 1st and playing through handtraps, called by the grave just ends up crippling the going 2nd player more, ban designator too.

​@@Haooryu but the real solution is to give archetypes good cards that can be broken going second, if the opponent controls a card you get bonus effect, but the effect might just be negated anyways lol
