The biggest issue with Pokémon is the unbalanced starts. You can literally lose before your turn if you’re opening is out of balance with theirs. As you see in game one. It’s way worse in Pokémon than any other tcg.

I mean V max pokemon are like gigantamax pokemon from the games. When you gigantamax I believe your health also increases as well as the size of the Pokémon. The high HP value makes sense. At least to me.
