I like Tuilagi's answer there about tackles "I don't enjoy it, it's just a part of the game". Rugby players usually try to be tough and say "oh yeah I love to crush players blah blah". Smart, mature response.

Especially when juxtaposed with NFL players. Despite the brutal and physical nature of the game, Rugby truly is a gentlemens game. Sportsmanship and brutality don't usual go hand in hand. Forgive my terrible elaboration on Yoe91's comment lol.

people like that are usually the least gay. its the people who are afraid to be seen doing that because they're so afraid to be seen as gay that may have some underlying gayness that they're afraid to acknowledge. if you're 100% sure you're straight then you wouldn't be afraid of sitting in a hot tub with another guy because you know you're 100% straight

Have a look at Alesana and Manu Tuilagi being interviewed together. Manu with his English Midlands accent and monosyllabic responses, Alesana’s so articulate in contrast. The older Tuilagi brothers speak well too. I don’t think it’s Manu’s fault, seems he’s been overly media-trained by the RFU - “yeah, it’s nice, the boys did their best, etc” - they really need to piss off and let players express themselves and expose their natural personalities.

It must be like being hit by a truck at a combined speed of over 30 mph! No bleating to the ref, they just get up and carry on. Amazing. Even after tackles that would put most of us in hospital, they get up and occasionally high 5 the guy that took them down. That's sport. For a game that seems pretty, no, very brutal, there's a respect and intellect that seems to be lacking in other...erm...ball games. Imagine someone weighing 18 stone coming at you at about 20 mph....I'd be in traction for a year after the 1st hit and these guys do it over and over again for an hour and a half. Incredible.

dominicgee No, you'd never have mistaken them for Americans. I have to admit, a couple of generations of them have come since that time and the new ones you could say that about but that childlike simplicity is gone. The new generation is very north American.

Powerful, yes. Pure gentleman. Some of the most powerful strongest man I’ve ever met, here’s a tip- Don’t ever mess with their children or their family members, because you cannot help on these men and they will literally rip your arms out of your sockets.

@@codymoe4986 No not evil superman, gentle giant. I’ve seen one of these men pick up at 325 pound block of brass, three times, I could not get my fingernails under it. So I have your laugh but just respect the Samoa.

@@christopherdillon6303 My disrespect was directed towards your overstatement about the superhero strength of Samoan prople, and not the Samoan people themselves... And save the weight figures...I have spent enough time training for athletics to know it doesn't take that many weeks to be able to move around 300 lbs loads...

@@codymoe4986 Dear Cody, you should probably “Woke,” down a little man…Steroids have gone to your brain, they are by far the strongest people on the planet in my view an estimation which is all I really give a shit about. And I’d like to see you lift a 324 pound billette of brass…Not on a weight bar, dead lifting dead weight of 324 pounds. don’t get yourself too crazy out there. I’ve got my opinions and you’ve got your opinions. It’s funny how everybody wants to challenge each other these days, I’m right you’re wrong etc. in the current of life and towards the end who really gives a rats ass who’s right or wrong as long as you’re not hurting anybody in the process. Have a good one, hopefully a peaceful life.

@@christopherdillon6303 Pssst...haven't been in a weightroom since college and haven't taken any sort of steroid ever...I am simply reminding you that you are completely full of crap and constantly repeating your overstatements isn't relieving the back pressure... Samoan men cannot LITERALLY rip arms from sockets due to their super strength and picking up 300 lbs isn't that impressive with training...zero ego implied, just easily understood facts if you aren't a fanboy or a troll...

when you ;hear samoan with their high pitch laughing and soft tone voices thats how you wanna keep them. cause when you hear the high pitch war cry and them holding guns and machetes and comming towards you just say your prayers its over... the history of the samoan is they were all about war. any reason to war.they lived to war. so samoans today. laughing and having fun is the best way to keep them ...manuia.
