thanks for a most enjoyable moment my dear friend... i don't know why but it evokes images of working in a blacksmiths forge... the noise, the clatter, frenzied hammer blows, sparks, the sweat on the brow, and of making something magical in metal ☕☕☕

Glad to see you back dear friend! Oh yes, these blacksmiths certainly were working hard in 1812, forging the sabers that defeated Napoléon I. Great perspective of the work!

@@Don_Adagio never thought of your delightful music from the perspective of Bonaparte's antics in eastern europe... though I did recently watch a documentary on the battle of Borodino, quite interesting 🍺🍺🍺

@Montys_Music_Jamboree Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture is a dedication to the victory of Russia over the invading French Army of Napoléon in 1812. Some versions of this piece use actually real cannons firing! Tchaikovsky included beautifully the resemblance of the sound of cannons through drum in the end, but some actually use the real cannons! If you may, give a look on this edit I have done some time ago kzbin.infoW9cTpH-C7Pk

@@Don_Adagio my humble apologies my friend... read your message weeks ago & watched the short.... then got completely distracted & forgot to respond. memory jogger came after seeing one of your shorts... never grasped in original message that Tchaikovsky's sublime work was related to Napoleons grand tour of europe (opps)... the battle for berlin short has i recall was enjoyable, liked the T34-85's storming the Reichstag 🙂🙂🙂
