Je ne connais pas d'œuvre musicale dont le finale allie ampleur, force, majestuosité, mélodie, harmonie que le finale du Lac des cygnes. Comme il s'agit d'un ballet, ajoutez au son d'un excellent orchestre, la présence d'une troupe émérite et une réalisation soignée pour vous conduire à une apothéose qui restera gravée dans la mémoire du plus difficile des amateurs de ballet romantique.

I thought so too..and having played this ballet...i can tell you its incredibly difficult solo to play within the orchestra and most conductors do tend get in the way because of whats scored in the strings.
