From its loud/triumphant brass and strings in the beginning section, to the more quiet and more complex tunes played by the woodwinds and the pizzicato strings in the middle and to the strong bold climax with the strings finishing it off, made me instantly fall in love with this piece of music the first time I heard it. One of the more uplifting compositions Tchaikovsky has ever written, and one of my personal favourites among many others of his work.

After many 👂🏼listenings to various versions, I personally think that this particular 💿recording by the 🇨🇦Montreal Symphony Orchestra of the 'Danse des Coupes'/'Dance with Goblets' polonaise from Tchaikovsky's 🎼Swan Lake score is the best. 👌🏼

I love this movement/act so much. I like the first and last parts the best, but the middle is a nice contrast. This is my new favorite piece.
