Thank you Karl and Daniel for reminding me of one of my favorite intense lines from this classic Disney movie! 😄👍🏼

For those of you who like this segment of 🎶music from the ballet, then have a 👂🏼listen to the 3rd movement of Tchaikovsky's 5th 🎼symphony (at approximately 27-ish minutes into the whole symphony) - it sounds remarkably similar to this "Act I: No. 5, Scene (The Palace Garden)" from the 💤Sleeping Beauty ballet. It's also allegro/(quick) and uses the same application of invigoratingly agitated runs of 16th notes. But this isn't surprising to me, because I just saw (as I had somewhat guessed based on the similar sound) that the 5th symphony was written in 1888, just 1 year preceding his score for the Sleeping Beauty in 1889 - so this must have been a style that he was going through at this time. Anyway, just figured I'd share this neat tidbit of info. 👌🏼

Hey starting from 4:11- this reminds me of the Disney version of 'Sleeping Beauty!'

Falbala The Disney version of Sleeping Beauty uses Tchaikovsky's music verbatim. It's not even plaigarism - they're totally open about it - the whole thing is basically an adaptation of his opera into an animated feature film.

+spamtarget26 It's a ballet, not an opera... #justsaying
