question, Say that the battery inflated to the point that the charger wouldn't be recognized and therefore no charging would occur, Could simply replacing the battery fix both issues?* *battery not charging and the inflated battery problem.

Yes, in that case you need to get a new battery on that :)

i did everything step by step that you did and it'll turn on but it wont let me interact with the screen when on what did i do wrong??? pls help

New parts sometimes, come with factory defects. You can contact the seller and I ask them to help. also make sure the cable from the screen is well seated on your motherboard.
