I think it is not possible to use that cable because that cable can only be used from HDMI to RCA connection and not the other way around. For RCA (analog source) to HDMI TV, you need a converter similar to this - amzn.to/36St06o (Amazon affiliate link). Although, I have never tried it myself. Good luck!

There's a solution if you get that 3.5 mm with TCL tv. Just push hard into AV IN. Also make sure your source must be in AV. You don't need magic mic to get a signal.

This is for input. For output, the TV has optical and HDMI ARC. I plan to make a video about connecting TV to stereo amp. I think that one works for you.

@@ProductUnboxingMore Well one side goes in my OG xbox, but I’m assuming you mean the other side which fits the same as composite (these ones) but with a red, blue, and green cables for video.

Even though they are all RCA connectors, they carry different signals. For this video, the yellow RCA is composite video which includes all video information unlike the component cable needs 3 connectors for video alone. In your case, I suggest, better look for component cable to HDMI adaptor. I hope this helps.

I suggest you try first the xbox and the cable on standard analog TV. If it works, maybe something wrong with your TCL TV interface.

@@larahflave18 No, that connector will not work. For audio out, kailangan mo ng optical cable. Pero kung walang optical input ang stereo component, I think you need a DAC device (Digital to Analog Converter).
