TCL LED TV Repair No Picture, Logo Flashing.

Replaced parts:
- SB3150 Schottky diode (replaced with MUR460 Ultrafast recovery diode).
- 470uF 10v Electrolytic Capacitor.

A hint: You can discharge a capacitor with your voltmeter. just hold the leads across the cap and you can even watch the voltage go down as it discharges. Alternately, I sometimes use a 10 watt resistor with leads soldered to it. I know it's popular on youtube to just short them out but you can damage the cap that way. Not to mention the unpleasantness of having the thing flash in your face.

Hi my TCL is doing the same but I saw lot of other videos replacing the LED stripes. Logo flash then plays sound but no backlight.

Both the LED strip and Driver circuit can cause this problem, but the driver circuit is easier to access so check the driver circuit main components (Diode, Capacitor) first if everything is good then continue to check the LED backlight strip(using the led backlight tester device).
