Since u talked about backlight bleeding, i think you are the one to ask this. I am looking for a budget tv prefferably within 40k in 50-55" inch size. I am always worried about backlight bleeding issue in the bargain brands. TCL seems to fit my budget in QLED as have heard better after sales then competition like hisense. Now what about the chances of backlight bleeding would u say in brands like TCL or xiaomi pro qled series which is much expensive then TCL.

TCL and Hisense are both good budget brands. I have a TCL C725, Hisense E7K pro and Hisense U7H and all these Tvs have no backlight bleed or uniformity issues. I also have a Vu Gloled and although the TV is great but the backlight uniformity is not as good as TCL or Hisense. So you can go with these brands brother.

TV Units can vary from unit to unit. It also depends on lighting scenarios in the room while testing. And anyways a Lux meter is not the right way to test the brightness. I have a Lux meter as well and it is not accurate. I would just get whichever is cheaper.

I bought 55" TCL C755 for 52K Approx. from Flipkart. Sound quality is too good. But didn't found Sharpness option anywhere and Picture quality in Smart HDR mode is very good. But other option like standard picture mode is too bad. Also brightness in the background is more which affects the eyes. Even watching this Tv is affecting the eyes. Installed Jio fiber but the resolution shows 3840*60 only. I dont know why it is not showing 120 hz. Even after increasing or decreasing the brightness Tv is affecting the eyes. Can you help me find any solution as for good picture quality I have to make it set in Smart HDR mode. The other settings are not good. Also can you tell me what will happen if it is continuosly on Smart HDR mode.

The 120hz is only for gaming not for content brother. Try installing some LED lights behind your TV it will help with bright panels in a dark room. The best preset for me is the Cinema or Film maker mode when its available for a content.

If A2D channel found a layer supposedly quantum dot panel but not functioning as such in the TCL TV, 0:02 then it raises the question as to whether a substandard or even fake quantum dot layer is introduced as a cost cutting measure. Even if the set is opened even technician will be fooled by the layer as hardly anyone checks the functionality of the layer. It appears to be more than a quality control issue particularly in low cost sets. Not withstanding the alleged Samsung conspiracy theory.

There is ‘P71B’ but not ‘P71B pro’ model in their official website. The issue is not with TCL, But with is this particular model. (I bought C61B ‘55’ and Acer super ‘43’) both are awesome ❤

Assuming this TCL link and report clears them of giving a product which does not match spec claim. What about the other allegation that spec says 40 watt but tv has 2 speakers of 10 watt each. They want to beat competitors anyhow. They don't care for quality or consumer.

MSME cant make tv😂😂 if you start tv manufacturing, every part you have to import from china and assemble here which will cost more than the price offered by established tv companies and you cant survive. I was about to buy one of these models of TCL or Hisense TVs this month for their outstanding features and value for money, they have 32 GB, Far field microphone ( hands free voice control ) etc , but after studying the adverse reports, opted for a Sony X80L 2023 model, the model just withdrawn from the market, with 3 years warranty at a lesser price, which is still costing more than double the price of TCL, Hisense etc. No regrets for the decision as the picture quality of the Sony TV is excellent. However, must confess that the value proposition provided by these entry level chinese TVs are compelling. But they should not use QLED as a selling USP which is unethical as TCL, as far as I know, has not come out with a satisfactory explanation. How can a reputed TV company fail in quality tests in many of their models, and though only TCL is targetted, how do we know the QLED panels of othet TVs are upto the mark? 😂 PS: If anyone using TCL, Hisense etc are happy, have no regrets, buy one more TV at the price of Sony as this reduces screen on time on just one TV annd can extend the shelf life. Incidentally I took an HD TV, which is markedv as QLED, CROMA Branded TV at a dirt cheap price and found out that the picture quality outclasses that of one of my favourite 2024 released WEB OS LG UHD 4K TV 80506 model ! Its a crazy world!! Also noted that TCL C655 model sold through Amazon has < 4 ratings, and more negative reviews, suggest opt for other models with better reviews.
