In spite of the drama happening behind the scenes the movie turned out great. I remember being 11 years old watching this movie in the theater.

The Searchers, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Quiet Man… John Ford knew how to use John Wayne. One of my favorites is Donovan’s Reef … it just looks like they had fun.
