So much attention to detail in the TCM Remembers tributes. Notice how the word "funny" in the lyric comes when Buddy Hackett is on the screen, and how the candle from Katharine Hepburn's scene in "Lion in Winter" mirrors the candles that appear immediately afterward. Subtle touches that add to the beauty and emotional impact of this tribute.

Wow 2003 was a devastating year for Hollywood. Can't remember another year with so many losses. And believe it or not this is the first time I've ever heard "I Will Remember You". I had to look it up to see you sang it. Tremendous song. That four and a half minute video was like a who's who of Hollywood! God bless them all!!

*As Peck said "I've always been lucky to be in a lot of great movies that always made me look better than I actually am...I'm not all that 'emotive' like Brando but I manage to play a character the best I can the way the Director wants a given character to be"*

This is such a touching video. I'm so grateful that TCM makes these small tributes to the lives of these wonderful actors and actresses and other filmmakers. The pairing of the lyrics with film clips is incredibly moving. The instrumental bridge is a tribute to those who wrote words but whose voices are not known to most movie fans. But as a kid, I will never forget a novelty song that turned out to be a hit, sung by Sheb Wooley "One Eyed One Horned Flyin Purple People Eater".
