As a fresher i would recommend don't go for tcs. Join any other company. As a fresher you get support role in tcs and due to which it is tough to switch to any other company for development role because you don't have any experience in development. So i will suggest don't go for tcs. Out of 100 freshers only 4-5 get good project rest get support role.

I also think that Rehiring Policy is very overrated! But the thing is Company like TCS is exceptionally good for someone who wants to have a stable life in the future. Apart from Salary, there are many other perks in TCS which are not available in any other company e.g like Health Insurance Policy!!!!! And in the last big recession period, TCS hardly fired anyone, whereas in other companies, Employees got fired. So maybe this could be the reason! "dusre company me chale jaenge. If you are worried about tcs no rehiring policy and want to be a part of an tcs in future, then wait for Capgemini. Nd No, it is not applicable after accepting offer letter. It will be applicable once you join the company. As per your interest and offers that you got, it solely depends on your luck, whether you will get any development or Coding related work in future in both companies. In the end I would suggest you to ask Capgemini HR regarding your joining date. If you get joining date before December, then join Capgemini. If not then join tcs... It is not good practice to waste 3-4 months.

@@NitManTalks Actually I read on Quora that CBO is like BPS stream in which candidates from any stream eg BSc Bcom even works. I don't whether it's true or not. I have no idea. 1. Now if I join TCS in CBO stream what is the future scope of it? I mean the DCA exam for converting Ninja to digital is that applicable for CBO stream's candidates? Actually to join TCS I have to travel from Kolkata to Nagpur and even after that if I don't get any career growth then what is the point! 2.
