Thank you! I notice that after you've folded down the bows, you fold the two corners in, then fold the remainder only once, so it hangs straight down. Is there a reason you don't fold it twice, as the Operations Manual recommends? Thanks. Tom M., TD27318

Not really Tom. I normally have the half or full tonneau on and it really is not necessary to fold the material again. Why stress the hood more. My hood is down most of the time here in Florida and when you put it up there are folds visible in the fabric. Your hands will always leave a tell tail :) Just something else to clean.

Thanks Rod. There's so much for me to learn about these cars, I'm always thinking I've missed something that experienced owners know. If you have a video of setting up the (half-)tonneau over the folded hood, it would also be helpful. Seems there are various ways of doing that too, especially in reagard to the tonneau rod. Tom M.

Tom,From your picture of the half tonneau - it looks like you have 3 elastic strips. If you look on the back of the seat, there should be an equal number of Lift The Dot spikes. One for each of the elastic strips. Start to install the half tonneau by passing the elastic strips over the tonneau bar on the back of the seat and press home the L.T.D. fasteners,Once secured - you can pull the half tonneau back over the hood and make the rest of the L.T.Dot fasteners around the edge. Job done. The elastic is just to give tension and make it tidy.

No I did not see the need. I use a full tonneau with the hood folded and any less folds is probably better for the hood.
