Great Video! I’m currently using your Vortex on Crf450rl and you just did an oem remap for my 25 Crf250rx. The 450 has ran great for a year and a half, but now is getting a R/Rx head you ported for me, with a r/rx cam dropped in it. I’ve been testing and still need to do more on 250rx tune to get some good feedback to you. So far it’s been phenomenal. Im going to be contacting you guys for a Dyno tune for both bike’s in the near future. Really appreciate all the help, you guys are incredible! Thank you!

Hi I have a 19’ 450L…do I need to pay for the custom tuning if I have a cam or do you have a off the shelf tune for the cam? Thank you

So there’s a generic Vortex ECU and then there’s a “custom” Twisted Development Vortex ECU Right? I bought 2 Vortex ECUs from another vendor and I’m guessing they aren’t custom maps right? I wish I would have found you guys first. Can I still upgrade mine from Twisted?

He mapped one for me and it made my bike feel like it should. Should be like that from factory. Really made it feel like it floats. Hard to explain. Needs to be experienced.

How come the industry doesn’t implement a e85/e85r set up?
@ziptieracing
@ziptieracing 5 күн бұрын
You'd need a larger injector and potentially a bigger fuel pump. The cost vs benefit wouldn't be there. Combine that with the fact that most small engine guys don't like e85 because of all of the myths surrounding it, and not many people would run it if people did support it.
@ziptieracing
@ziptieracing 5 күн бұрын
Additionally, e85 varies so much in alcohol content that it'd be a liability issue making a map for someone who may get 50% e one tank and 90% the next.

I bought one from you guys and my bike started and ran way better than stock. My friend just bought one from you guys and his bike starts cold like crap and doesn’t idle. Any suggestions for him? It’s a 2022 yz250f at sea level running t4

The Yamaha engine coolant temp sensor has a track record for failing. The engine coolant temp sensor is what adds fuel for cold starting. If that circuit is not working properly the bike will be a pain to start cold and start normally when warm.

@@twisteddevelopmentracing he put his stock ecu back in though to test it and it started perfect cold then your ecu in again and won’t idle cold and rough starts

@@NickW90I had XPR map my 23 KX450 and it’s doing the same thing. I was contemplating sending it to TD however, after reading this, it appears to be a broader issue than just one tuner. I’m sending it back to XPR for them to tweak for resolve.

@@williamskify on my vortex after a while my bike would die while riding like i was holding the kill switch. After some time of trouble shooting and replacing fuel filter etc i tried the stock ecu and zero issues. After lots of googling i found many people have the same issue. For that reason i won’t buy another
@williamskify

@@NickW90 understandably, so. My issue is only when it’s cold starting. Once it started it runs fine. You can shut the bike off. Start it back up while it’s still hot and it starts perfect. Once it cools down before the next Moto, it’s hard to start again.

If a man has a suzuki, can he just send couplers into you guys for them to be mapped and plugged in?
@twisteddevelopmentracing
@twisteddevelopmentracing 5 ай бұрын
We have only developed vortex ecu’s for Suzuki’s. We don’t have any plans to tune the stock ecu on that brand. Sorry
@ziptieracing
@ziptieracing 5 күн бұрын
The couplers are just jumpers. You can make them at home if you lose them. If you look at how they're pinned they just jump different pins to do what they're supposed to.
