That is a thing of beauty, definitely, properly built, and not bought! Hats off to the creator!

It’s a nice thing but why’s the guy stand there and say it’s a 107 series 1 chassis when it’s clearly a defender with a Series one body dropped on as anyone who knows Land Rovers can clearly see. Just make’s himself look like a lying Knobhead when what he’s done is pretty decent. Perhaps he’s trying to hide where the Defender came from. 🦹🏻♂️👮🏼♀️
@awegvvm-productions2 жыл бұрын
It is absolutely a great build! I like it very much! But Why so secret about the chassis. We all see that it is a defender 110 or maybe an extended Discovery chassis. He is just scared that the authorities find out and he has to pay road tax for this "kitcar". Well if you don't want people to find out,just don't post it on KZbin then😉
@georgesawkins30542 жыл бұрын
Apart from it's not a TD5 swapped into a Series 1... It's a TD5 swapped into a Defender, with some Series 1 body panels thrown on. It's also no longer MOT or Tax Exempt.
@highdownmartin2 жыл бұрын
Pretty much right.
@richardlawton89862 жыл бұрын
No, it’s a custom 109 chassis ……..🙄😂 looks like a 110 defender chassis all day long!😂
@TheKooksGroup2 жыл бұрын
Still cool as F**k
@georgesawkins30542 жыл бұрын
@@TheKooksGroup nope. You loose the main advantages of driving a Series Landrover - you now have to pay the £490 Road Tax, £40 MOT, and that's if you can insure it at all - the vehicle is now an illegal ringer (Defender chassis and running gear with a 109 V5).
@TheKooksGroup2 жыл бұрын

@miketucker74662 жыл бұрын
Nice job but it has Q plate written all over it when you show us all the old chassis..
@Bouwentjes10 ай бұрын
Love it! But… despite what he says I still suspect that this a defender chassis with the old 107 chassis number hammered in. It really looks 100% like a defender chassis, can not find any indication of a series 1 chassis.

Thats awesome How'd you shoe horn in a TD5 without moving the radiator forwards? Landrover couldn't do it! Shame about the R380 sitting so far back - what bell housing was it? Defender or Discovery? Never liked the look of the 107" with its high sided bake, but this think has it nailed every 107 should look like this!
