I have this exact tune on stock clutch. I always switch maps on the fly. You can also change your two step RPM if you hold clutch down and try changing maps . So yes, you can be moving and be in gear while changing maps . Nice pick up! 🤙🏽

Phearable's Off the shelf tunes are phenomenal. I've had 2 custom tunes for my R and I'm running the stage 2 Phearable instead. John knows his shit. The absolute biggest downside of the Si is the horrific stock clutch. Once you feel the difference between it and the Retrofit kit, It's a totally different car and the cars biggest negative is gone. Beat money you can spend on it

You can switch maps while driving & in gear as long as you have the cruise control off. Not set, off off. If it's on & you see either the lanes or the CRUISE on, you can't change maps.

Running 26psi on hondata it’s worth it but you definitely can’t be in sport all the time keep up with maintenance Times 8 CRC VALVE CLEANER oil change every 5k-7k miles ALSO NO DIGS RECOMMEND CLUTCH (fly wheel with preference)

@@z0mgWTFitzAlex an intake would improve throttle response and sound, with a small hp boost. And an exhaust as well to relieve some back pressure. They have a re learn ecu so even without a tune you’ll see small power gains. If the 11th gens are anything like the 10th gens, I recommend an intercooler. The oem ones are just bad

Definitely a Type R if you can afford it although an SI would definitely be the smarter financial decision because Type R prices like all car prices are ridiculous right now. You can find an SI for thousands of dollars cheaper and modify for stock Type R levels of power and even more for cheaper than buying a stock Type R. The new 22 SI is a machine with I believe the same suspension setup as the 10th gen Type R, if you can find it for the right price and the aftermarket support on it is starting to take shape. Much better interior than the 10th gens as well. But at the end of the day your money your decision and good luck looking.

If it’s a crazy upgrade from the factory (more power, better suspension, somehow even better transmission) I imagine the prices going down slightly but if it’s the same engine with just upgraded suspension and interior with the 11th gen exterior I don’t see the prices going anywhere. Type Rs have been and basically always will be expensive. Since 2017 they’ve been getting $10k added to the sticker price and now with the market they’re even more expensive.

It’s a civic at the end of the day.. I’ve driven a few type r’s and are definitely amazing cars. But for what they are going for it’s not worth it. At that price you’re already looking at other cars at that price range. Si’s too. These 10th gens in general shot up in market value so you’d have to look around for a while to find one at a good price

So in youre opinion what is a safe tune for a stock car with only short ram and changing the 2 mufflers for one ? 230hp ? Its weird in My country all tuners say its better to have pb98, and we have the min pb 95 when in US You have 91 as premium :D I am asking this because I want it to last long like 200k km w/o any problems and stil;l have fun with this daily car with changing seasons.

i went straight to flex fuel using hondata and now i need a clutch to even use it efficiently 😑 i wish i would have down a DP and intercooler first but i yell you what ive been beating 5.7 chargers no problem with a 40% mix with 93 since im in Texas 😜 also just in case anyone is wondering 8 gallons of good e85 with rest of tank 93octane will get you almost exactly 50% mix

It’ll lift overtime with enough abuse, more E and flooring it in low RPM’s You can avoid all that by just taking care of it lol

After flashing this I immediately started slipping the clutch in 6th gear. An easy fix is to use the boost by gear and set 6th to 21psi. Also I switch maps while driving. Doesn’t seem to care.

I've been running Phearable 1.5 with fbo for like 20k+ miles and I am not nice to the car at all and my stock clutch is holding up fine. People just don't understand you can't floor it at low rpms or in overdrive gears in a turbo car

It’s really a hit and miss, My clutch BARELY slipped at low rpm’s. Just don’t do things to bog the engine
